Why is this thread back?

Yes I'm aware there's a Hughes debate in another thread, but before some arsehole points to that can I please point out nobody in that thread is calling for him back.

The extent of the "licking" is pretty much stating Hughes is an average prem manager, which isn't an easy gig.

By the way, I can now honestly say that I wasn't on a wind up when I started this topic. I wanted genuine opinion at the time how people felt things had started under Mancini and were we making any progress. In hindsight, it was obvious miscalculation since wounds hadn't been fully healed over Hughes sacking but I was just dead happy that we had Mancini in charge and I felt things were going in right direction.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

This thread would be totally different if Aguero missed that goal.

Did you happen to check when it was started? We weren't exactly talking about Aguero back then.

Would you have felt the same about Mancini if we lost the QPR game 2-1?

I think we would have heard a moanfest on this and other threads about our lack of a plan B to deal with hyperdefensive teams.

What?
Would I have felt that Mancini is better manager than Hughes had we lost? Of course. You can't even compare the two regardless of individual results. They are simply in completely different levels as managers. Whether Hughes is shit (I think he is) or average Prem manager is up for debate. Whether Mancini is really really good or truly world class (I think he is) is also up for debate. As you can see, only thing in common with two of them is that they are called "football managers".

tbh&f to NQDP I am the daft culprit, cuz when yestarday the "Joey banned" thread developed in such an amazing funny way, I noticed this thread up because someone added a further post but I absentmindedly didnt realize that it was the old one, while I thought he had started a new poll to wind the s.c. "lickers" up.

thou, in all fairness, I certainly wasn't having a go at the fisherman, rather than joking at him for my amusement at his wind up mood. slightly and tad weirdly complimentory, in fact, I was.

I hang myself in shame.

and of course I endorse Gillie, here.

4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!
