Leave the drama of the shoot out its one of our better spectacles.

I think that argument has a few things in it's favour, but considering there is so much argument about refs making wrong calls , fiddling with rules should be last reason why things should change.

I'd like to see that as tactics would still play a big part.

This has definite mileage but go straight to it after 90mins!

Start extra time with one man less then one more off every five mins.

First goal wins

Managers have to tell 4th official who they are taking off without knowing who is coming off for the opposition.

Would love to see this tried out

This, well worth it, would be a total mockery but fantastic school yard entertaining when it got to 3 v 3.

Minus one player every 5 minutes or say 3 every 10 minutes would be very entertaining to watch. Very difficult to manage though so I think it's a non runner.

I think the mls option is the best alternative, could even do a version with 2 attacking players only one pass only or the like.

Otherwise the genital option could possibly work, imagine the sky sports slow-mo replays in high definition, on second thoughts..

Keep the penalties but let all 11 players from each team take a penalty kick.
