You're allowed a whole bunch of transfers after the group stage. You're also allowed a few transfers after every knock-out round Plus you also have a wild card, which allows you an unlimited number of transfers. Just check the rules page!

it was surprisingly difficult to pick the team imo! found myself million times in a situation when I just found a good player and then I realised I already have two from that country.
it made it even more difficult as I realised I don't know basically anyone from the Polish team for example.. and same goes for loooooooads of other players there too. I have got to start playing more modern version of football manager than 00-01 version I'm currently playing! ;)

Anyone notice that there is a bug in team selection? The players have their nationality listed below them, and for me players appear as German, yet they are Portuguese, and a Portugal appears as German. On second glance, this is the case for all the players. Not that it matters, but is a bit odd.

I almost gave away hints to my line-up by naming players, back off!!
