I actually agree with you. Good experience at both PL and CL levels and can play on either flank as well as through the middle. I think he'd be a useful member of the 25, though not a regular starter in anything other than both domestic cups.

As others have said, he's better than AJ. But he won't go to a club where he'd be used every 4 or 5 games, he'd be nothing more than a bit part.

Not a bad squad player to sit on the bench and never open his mouth and complain. When the niggles kick around mid season, hes not a bad player to bring into a couple of games to break it up. Having said that, every couple of years he'll piss off to the African Cup of Nations. However if his wage demands are respectable, I don't see to much harm in it. We don't have too much depth in wide positions, and he won't bring an ego with him.

I'd not he against him coming in on a free on the condition his attitude is ok.

It's low risk and let's not forget he's had 426 managers at Chelsea. He could potentially add to our squad and see a settled side riding high as a good challenge.

Nope, no room in the side for him and his whining

I've watched him play international football and I've rated him, but he hasn't translated that form to his Chelsea career.

I reckon he'd be an interesting project for a manager. Get things right with him and you've got one hell of a player on your hands.
