New Eden Hazard Topic

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

New Eden Hazard Topic

Postby Niall Quinns Discopants » Sun Jun 03, 2012 5:11 am

Old topic was taken away so you (not Beeks and CityGer) can continue here.

So, he went to Chelsea after selling his arse like a [strike]cheap[/strike] very expensive whore. Extremely talented lad but question remains how he'll adapt to Premier League. More promising players than him have failed. Consensus remains though that sky is the limit for this feller.

Continue....
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

So I suppose that meansthe argument has been FINNISHED then. (see what I...forget it)

I think it is quite likely thathe will become a superstar of the Prem art some point. But I wonder if it will be to the detriment of his team. A bit too like Sturridge in his self serving attitude.

I vented on the original thread all my anger for the loss, ending with some goes at RA, assuming the interim management of his OWN Club, cause he's ruining football by paying agent's ransom and cause he had fucked City dream of perfection ...

Now, taking the refreshing opportunity sensibly provided by the Mod, I like to expand on a more thoughtful assessment:

a) the bloke seems to me not a whore rather than a 21 yo youngster with a solid faith and trust in his agent, who ultimately drove the transfer.
b) he will probably take half a season - no different than what happened to Our Own Wizard - to settle in and cope with the demands of the Premiership
c) whether the Chealsea shopping is actually designed by a new manager yet to be disclosed (I don't think so) or his exclusively driven by the Tzar, it appears to be almost spot on and designed onto a carefull look at Bob's MCFC: it's evidently deemed to provide the forthcoming manager with proper personnel to fit a fluid 4-2-3-1 style:
--------------- Czech ------------
Ivanovic - Cahil - Terry - Luiz
--- Essien -- JOM ( Meireles)---
Hulk ---- Hazard (Frankie) --- Mata
-------------- Fernando ------------

In my books this is a great side and, if the manager will be capable to help a prompt gelling of it, will constitute a major threat even for the ALMIGHTY LIGHT BLUES from the North.

Question marks,HUGE ONES:
1) the set up is based on the assumption that Torres will flourish back to his ancient spark. it's very apt to his features of playing style, but... shall see...
2) will Frankie Lampard accept to be progressively relegated to an impact role, or will he drive rioting once again?

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

Based on last night's performance Hazard wouldn't be someone I'd be that fussed about seeing in a blue shirt, I know it's once game, but he didn't do enough for me

As for Chelsea they've been successful this season only by hanging on & nicking matches by the odd goal, to change the ethos of the team will take more than Hazard & Hulk to make them a serious threat

Based on that one match, which isn't a great indicator, I thought Mertens was more effective. Like John above, definitely got the impression that Hazard isn't a great team player.

At no point was the England back 4 better than any of the back 4 from the top 5-6 sides and he didn't get a sniff. And this is with Parker protecting them.

Ashley cole is consistently their best performer how would he not get into the side? As much as I dislike the nob he is a quality lb

For all the talk of Chelsea's dinosaur squad, they've bought/produced some very promising players in the past year or two- Hazard, Piazon, Romeu, Bertrand, Lukaku, Courtois, De Bruyne, McEachran, Chalobah and probably some others I'm forgotten.

Not sure how many of those will make it there, but I can't see the club finishing outside the top four again.

Hazard was not much to rave about yesterday (sure it's only 1 game). I don't get the worry or concern over Chelsea. Someone has got to be the main challengers next season and I 'd rather it was our cash bed buddies than the rags ... said this to some rags in the pub last night and their heads nearly exploded, try it, its nearly as funny as saying to them 'enjoy your derby with Scouse 2 and we'll enjoy ours with Chelsea come August!'

Thank for this new thread ... I don't know the two jokers there and I am new so perhaps I shouldn't say but someone should ban that kind of attitude straightaway and delete all the unrelated rubbish so we don't have to create new threads and repeat ourselves ...

I would have liked Hazard joining us ... I think more than his abilities, the kick we all would have gotten out of, would have been for snatching him out of Fergie's hands, he was their top target after all. Similarly his going to Chelsea doesn't bother me as much as it would have, had he gone to the scum.

What still surprises me is that Chelsea is mum about it ... why haven't they announced it yet? Where is the photo-shoot of him holding that (pathetic) blue shade of jersey with his name and no on it?

The only thing we got is his tweet saying he has chosen Champions League winners ... would anyone be surprised if his next tweet in a few days or weeks say, ooops, sorry, I meant Premier League winners ...

Rae,
I don't disgree with Your assessment of Chealsea LB picking order, I was just trying to suggest an alternative means to fix two holes with one brick: I always intended Luiz much more as a FB rather than a CB, where he's got potential but he's too much of a liability, given his arguable sense of positioning and massive instinct to go forward. perhaps it's also because I share all Your dislike for the Ashley cunt... :-)

Chinners,
no worry/concern at all. I am confident City will start as favourite even without shopping. I was just deeming a fair assessment of Chelsea spending spree. Also bearing in mind the potential fun that You have already experimented at the pub last night... :-)

all in all, further on topic: I would not assess Hazard basing on some season ending friendly performances.

Maybe no comma but definitely had the apostrophe in it. Found it a bit strange at the time, as if he was trying to wind someone up.

When a Dutch or a Belgian uses apostrophes, it actually has little bearing on reality. They use them for plurals, whereas we use them for possession and abbreviation. When writing in English, it can mean absolutely anything.
