He was asked to go on the "reserve list" but Richards was not happy to do that. IMO If he had done this I think he would now be in the squad. I agree with the earlier comments that he deserved to be in the squad in the first place.
I wonder if he now regrets spitting his dummy out?

The story was that Roy didn't even bother phoning Micah but got Pearce to do it instead, and the only one to not get a personal call.

If he's burnt his bridges, fair enough. After the way he's been treated by the last 2 manager's, I don't blame him one bit.

He was gracious when he found out he wasn't getting called up, he'd have been gracious if he was asked to change his mind. The call didn't come.

Me too. Can't help but think he is being punished for Terry's alledged verbal attack on his brother. Taggart said he can't play every 4 days but being back-up he wouldn't be in that frame anyway. Was he even on the call-up list?

This whole thing has already wrecked my enjoyment of the Euro's and seeing I'm one of those who do want to support my country, it just shows how badly it's been managed. Six Liverpool players, come on, this isn't about football, it's about politics.

What makes the whole thing worse is that these 6 were the ones who supported someone found guilty of racist comments. Throw that in with Terry's pending court case and it does make you wonder who we are actually supposed to be supporting. I'm not sure I can go along with it to be fair.

i am baffled by his selections as well...

i believe he wants sacked right after the Euros...OR he'll fucking somehow win the goddamn thing by outfoxing all of us and finding some brilliant collection that punches way above their weight.

i personally think he'll be out of this job by a year from now. He'll deserve it if so. i'm looking forward to France spanking the fuck out of England if i'm honest. Sorry if that ruffles some feathers but i'd like to see Clichy and Nasri open a can of whoopass.

and i am actually pretty excited for the Euros...wish i had a work boondoggle arranged to find myself in Poland somehow. I'm sure i'll cheer for England if they don't suckass, but this selection process has really pissed me off in general, and in specific about Micah and made me angry towards Roy.

many have smashed their head over my "marchandise"...i can assure you of that. it's not painful.

ma familia, historically...are from Holland and Italia. The former i'm 3rd gen American and the latter i'm 2nd generation, so i like to follow the Dutch and Italian teams. Plus, as a gloryhunter, they aren't bad sides to fais attention to, yknow?
