Not even in the England squad despite the shortage of decent strikers.
Going back rarely works.
We should only be adding to the current squad where it brings about a net improvement in terms of ability, attitude and morale.

What a pile of shite from the Evening Standard - Sturridge isn't quoted as mentioning City & says Chelsea were the most 'successful' not best as the standard is claiming & if you judge success as number of trophies then he's right

Talent yes but not the finished article in my book. Had a great spell around Christmas last season but faded in the run in. Having said that, I could see him having an impact off the bench for us so who knows

These reports are just a re-hash of what we heard some time back. Wouldn't be the first time we had players using us to leverage a better contract with their own clubs
