“When they won the Champions League I told myself, ‘Why not Chelsea?’ Hazard told French radio station RMC.

“There was a struggle between Chelsea and United but, for me, Chelsea has the best project.

“The team is young and I have a better chance to play there.

“At 21, Real or Barca would have been more difficult for me.

“If I play well enough at Chelsea, I could win my place in the starting team.”

He is very short sighted, not very smart and is looking for the first easy jet flight to Madrid.

I am starting to see why it was only between the scum and chelsea, after a meeting or two we realised he is a twunt.

We are the CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND, we don't need no one to beat those twats.

Bring them on with Hazard and Kagawa and we will murder them.

If you remember last season there was nothing from the club for 2 weeks after the season's end. They are taking a well deserved holiday.

I am more than happy for us to wait until after the Olympics before bringing anyone in. Last time this occurred we bought two players: Vincent and Pabzabs. Both at reasonable prices.

The Olympics is a great showcase for young hungry players.

This is exactly what I think his angle is. He is clearly going to use his time at Chelsea (as he would have done with us or the rags) as a stepping stone to Barca or Madrid as he isn't confident of commanding a place in the starting XI of either team yet. We may have dodged a bullet here

Small minded if you ask me.

No one knows how Barcelona will look after Guardiola left and with Xavi in his last years & Madrid will be a mess, after Mourinho will leave, like Inter was/is.

Just think how much stronger our team will be next year having played together for another season and with the confidence of being CHAMPIONS. We have the players to win the Champs League, we just need them to play to their potential, and I feel this next season will bring the best out of them.

Enough of this panic over "needing" to buy someone. Our squad is incredible and we have become a team (rather than a collection of individuals).

And even if all him and hulk go to chelsea, their major downfall is their owner. Chelsea could have the best team in the world but with a fickle owner who changes manager, they are not a 'team', just mere pawns.

I dunno why people - very respectable opinionists on here - keep talking about a presumed "panic". seriously I do not get it.
One thing is desire for the strengthening of the Club to be always on focus - which from where City already stand is a very difficult task, implying a a very selective acquisition of talent - another, opposite, feeling is the irrationality of the panic.

I for one have always expressed the believe that the Club should only spend if those very rare targets, who might spur the team to a further level of greatness - might be acheived. Feailing that, I stand more than comfortable in the believe that City will start the League as favourite even without any worth addition and I am also confident that having passed through the maiden syndrome in the last Chump campaign and being Mancini quick to learn from his errors (made there) City shall also stand tall in the next CL, even if Twatini should manage to draw us in a group including Barca, Juventus & Borussia.

I have been thoughtfully convinced by the Ted's dissertation all along the second half of the title winning run that, to step further upward City only need to acquire a Hazard kind of player, who can mix features of a fast paced winger with the view and positioning sense of a playmaker. As it stands now (having missed Sanchez and Hazard), I can see only Bilbao's Muniain as a possible target for that role. The bloke is very young yet and a bid this season is almost premature, I think.

I agree that, holding on for the Olympics (and possibly Euro, too) might highlight some cheaper talent to fill the couple of back-ups we need to face the demand of a 4 fronts season.

Once again, I'd like to stress the point that stability is key in every sector. from the technical wealth which City already have, only the addition of very selected talents may add: I don't want to mess up with new players of similar features and talent of those we already have: i.e.: I much better have Edin with 2 seasons experience of playing alongside his team mates than a RVP who shall have to learn how to gel with them (providing that he'll stay fit for a second full season in a row).

4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

I think Hazard is a rare talent who could go either way.

Imo what he needs to ensure he moves up to the next level, is Mancini. Instead he has Abramovic.

If he ends up like Joe Cole, it's his own fucking fault.
