It'll be interesting to see if the Rags start off with teams who will be in disarray, get home games after every CL game and finish against the mediocre/Rag loving teams?

Us, I don't care, we'll be ready, starting with the Community Shield.

I think that when they allow the fixtures computer to do it's thing, they have a number of factors which dictate how the fixtures are produced for example.

It will always ensure when United are at home, we are away. Similarly with Liverpool and Everton, Spurs and Arsenal etc.

Also I think that from police advice, there is never going to be a big derby match - Manchester, London, Merseyside, Midlands etc, on the first or last games of the season. Aside from that, anything goes.

Would ideally prefer a home game on first and last league games of the season

Not really that arsed about the first game but I hope the last game is at home so we can celebrate being champions again.

I thought the champions usually get the luxury of a home time first game of the season?

I'll go with home to Fulham

I'd prefer nice even months.
Like this.

Wigan A
Sunderland H
Chelsea A
Swansea H

Rather than

Rags A
Arsenal A
Champions league A
Liverpool H
