Some good points there, NQDP.

I loved Robinho's time with us. Great to watch and he certainly helped to kick-start the new era. But we are in a different ballpark now. We don't need "luxury players" when people like Sergio (and others) have BOTH massive talent and serious application. No way could Robinho have made such a huge contribution to winning the prem.

If I remember correctly, Robinho was inured for the start of the 2009-10 campaign? I think that was a great shame because it meant he never really had the chance to settle with the likes of Adebayor and Tevez, a huge step up from what we had previously. He never really settled after that.
