You cant fault the Irish - even when they are losing they are winning.

Ludicrous that they were permitted to march through Warsaw on Russia Day, nevermind whoever scheduled the fixture on the 12th to begin with. Add in the 1612 anniversary [when Russia removed the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth from Moscow] and it's been a complete and utter clusterfuck from the organisers.

Also, Putin's United Russia beat the Communist party in the elections six months ago - Putin's not a communist. At least, not anymore, he isn't/

From what I saw of the game, though, it was the best match so far. Both should advance and I'd fancy Russia to go quite deep into the tournament.

liked the polish performance yesterday very much
at least they werent as naive as the czech republic against russia and kept enough players behind the ball
but when they had the ball they looked really dangerous going forward and played some good fluid football
russia's final pass was poor as zhirkov and arshavin missed a lot of oppurtunities to create more chances
poland should have got all 3 points imo

now rosicky is out I think poland have a good chance to beat the czech

looking forward to watching tonights classic and I hope it lives up to the expectation

Richard Keys has just asked the question as to what the UEFA/European press response would be if our police had been firing rubber bullets at our fans, on the streets here, during a football tournament.

Just caught the end of the Portugal v Denmark match, looked a real cracker with Portugal lucky to get the points after Tranny's miss.

If the Dutch win today, all four teams will be on three points for the last game.

The Cloggies look about the same level as us. RVP is obviously mint, but they are really taking the term 'lone striker' a little too literally...

If he's shouting YA YA you shuold help him.

How poor are the Dutch though. Last time the Germans looked this threatening, it was white flags and 'yes, yes of course you can have my pushbike Herr Officer'. Bah.

Don't care how bad that joke is, Cloggies are worse.
