I hate the way he starts every third sentance with "Listen..." It even started rubbing off on Carragher last night.

Why have ITV decided that the football public want to watch Roy K***e & Carragher ?

K***e never says anything remotely interesting or insightful, looks miserable as fuck & Carragher just makes a noise like a cat choking on a chicken bone. Neither of them have ever done fuck all in international football.

I think Carragher might have a future as a pundit IF he can drop that friggin' whine from his voice.

Ratface turned out to be an excellent pundit, K**ne, however, is an annoying fuck. Why does he have an earphone in? Because the twat needs others to tell him what the flaming say. Alongside the always annoying and rude cunt of a Adrian Chiles, plus Roy 'the Hypocrite' Kunt, I'm surprised I haven't punched my TV through the wall yet.

And seriously, he says fuck all remotely insightful. I can say those things!

Genuine question Dubciteh & all other Irish posters............

What is the general perception of him amongst fellow Irishmen? I ask that, as ANY City fan is going to hate him instinctively.

My own perception is that he is a vile human being, full of anger & bitterness unless it is to do with Man ure.

Apart from which, he's been an abject failure as a Football Manager.

Why on earth any TV Company would want such a cluelessly nondescript "expert" as their prime-time pundit beats me.

FYI CTID Hants
Keane was adored by the Irish public for obvious reasons, he was one of only a handful of world class players to ever play for Ireland. Then the Saipan episode unfolded and it split the public. On the one hand he had genuine cause for being unhappy (very unprofessional set up of Irish team) but on the other hand he effectively walked out on the team at World Cup.

In the meantime he has spouted so much dogma from his high horse that he's really been shown up for the tosser that he is. He's eroded a lot of the love that he once had from the Irish et al.

I think the reason he is a pundit is the same reason he's such an distasteful person, because he's opiniated and he likes to say things that shock.

Cheers LB, hadn't realised that it had split the RoI that badly! Certainly remember him walking out on McCarthy and the squad in Japan, i guess i was too busy watching England getting as far as crashing out to Ronaldihno's lobbing of Spunky.

Another Genuine question, what is the best Ireland have done in an Euro or World Cup?

No joke but if i go into the local tomorrow night for the Ireland game i know lads that i could wind up for the night just by dropping Roy Keanes name and Saipan into the same sentence.Even 1o years on still plenty of idiots about that will debate the Saipan issue all night once they have a few beers in them.

It really does divide opinion, as you can imagine all the rags are right behind him.

The best they did was the quarters at world cup 90 they lost to italy 1-0.
