If I was you Nooly, I'd be complaining to UEFA for the ref's performance so far. He's an England homer!

The only speed you can associate with John Terry comes in 1 gram wraps and is dealt by his dad

It's very much a 'Give it to bloody [strike]Gordon[/strike] Ibra' game.

I'm not a Zlatan fan boy, but when he's in the right mood, he's a fucking beast.
See how he just brushed Lescott aside?

I actually liked the way Lescott stayed up, most players would've hit the deck there (Terry for one). I do like the way Ibra attacks the space, trying to push the play. However, he seems to be there for himself which sort of defeats the object.

Joe Hart, not put a foot wrong, he's even managed to hit a Blue shirt!

On another note, how good was that goal. Gerrard's put them typeof ball's in for Carroll a few times for Liverpool and I'm sure that's an exact copy of one they've put away this season.

From BBC match thread:
Dan, Kent, via text: "England have three Man City, two Man Utd, three Liverpool, two Chelsea and one Spurs player in starting XI. Sweden have a Sunderland player, one ex-Bolton and a right-back who couldn't cut it at Wigan. Far superior quality."

Nice to see how people are putting City at the head of their arguments.

If you were playing with a 36 year old, who didn't make it at Southampton in his prime, a striker who more or less failed in Bolton, a mediocre Sunderland winger, etc. you wouldn't really trust your team mates either ... Just comparing the teams player by player, it like watching City vs. Wolves.

Poor game ,2 poor teams and England a bit better so far with one moment of quality to get the goal. Hard to watch.

If it wasn't England playing, how many would still be watching?
