I take it all back - sloppy football but great drama and very watchable.

Its like watching the league one play off final.

I've just noticed the stewards around the England fans - there seems to be around three times the density compared to those around the Swedish.

The main problem we have is a small squad of players but it doesn't help when Hodgson picks the wrong ones.
Not that it would make a ton of difference.
oh well.

Lescott was covering his man at the back. Joe, I'll to see it again.

Lescott ran off to mark nobody. Thought Joe could have been coming for that one.

Well, I disagree.

Get in, what a game!

Congrats lads! I hope you beat the Ukrainians and go through.
I enjoyed this game a lot more than I thought I would. I thought we would sit back and get slaughtered.

As I wrote in a post above (which probably drowned among the Welbeck goal celebrations): Sweden of old would have played ultra organised and boring, perhaps grinding out three draws and then getting knocked out in the quarter finals. I enjoy this chaotic approach more.

Lawrenson should be taken out and smacked on the arse with a cricket bat with oxo written in chalk on it. What a disgraceful commentator , brown nosing about johnson and couldn't wait to have a dig at Walcott before the poor kid had even entered the game. arsehole of the widest type. I'd love to kick him on the parsons nose

Now we've got his other half spouting shit about all but the Dippers. Shearer says that Gerrard, the Captain, is telling people what to do yet fails to do his own job, Hansen blames Joe. Cocks!

Exciting game due to complete lack of organisation. Yet at the start, Parker & Gerrard were dropping back, taking the ball from the defenders & playing it out & everything looked ok. Then both decided they couldn't be arsed doing it anymore & they'd leave the two CB's to either pass it to each other, Joe Hart, or lump it. If someone can tell me why the fuck they did that, I'd be interested to know because I'm fucking baffled.

Well done Sweden for making a good fight of it & well done England for winning with ten men.

Just to mention Ashley Young again: SHITE.
