By far the best Dutch player tonight, his passing is soooooo bloody acurate, I can only remember seeing one pass not getting to another Dutch player all match

Surely that can't happen.

But Germany beat Portugal! Surely Portugal would be going out?

Same situation as the Holland-Denmark-Portugal issue - Germany, Portugal and Denmark all would have had 6 points. Germany beat Portugal, Portugal beat Denmark, Denmark beat Germany so goes to goal difference?

I think I've just confused myself again, just as well it didn't matter in the end!

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.

I thought he was lazy for both goals. Not 'our' Nige at all, but isn't that typical of all the Dutch players ? None play like they do for their clubs.

That does appear to be the "Dutch Problem". I don't get it, but there's a load of evidence for it.

Lack of team spirit. Always been the case with dutch. Apparently there has always been strong racial groups within the team as well. Back in the day people used to say that Bergkamp for example wouldn't even talk to black people in team.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Really?

Surprised by that as its been a good tournament this far. Good goals, good tactics and some freak results.

Far better than the last two world cups.

I'm a bit stuck on who to watch tonight. Ireland v Mario or Silva v Croatia?

Edit: Just heard Mario is out and Hansen state 'All the better as far as he's concerned'. Just a bitter fucker ain't he.

Silva v Croatia it is then.

Yep, seen and agreed.

The local commentator said something about some incident between Casillas and Robbie Keane, last game? Anyone know what happend?

Duff is now the captain because of that (and because is his 100 national selection).
