I think Mario's been dropped for di natale

Noone should be surprised , MARIO has been pap overall.

Yep, seen and agreed.

Croatia are my outsiders for the tournament.

I though Mario was Italy's most dangerous attacker in the last match and should have never been subbed. Italy looked significantly weaker once he left the field

They say Mario is injured yestrday on training

Can't be that injured mate, he's on the bench.

What a ball through from Silva, shame the pundits don't give him any credit.

On a side-note, why do Spain get an immediate freekick when a challenge comes in yet the teams they play get nothing for the same challenge?

Because they're Barcelona 2 and it's stipulated in the UEFA rule book?

The italians aren't playing that great, but how good is De Rossi?

He would had been a star in premier. Maybe Bobby can have another go with him, even if he signed a new contract.

Dont belive he will ever leave AS Roma like Totti but one of the best players in Italy.

That challenge by Ramos would have been a yellow if anyone but a Spaniard made it. Now Corluka got the yellow instead, for pointing out the obvious.

And that tackle by Ramos, under the 5th officials nose (shows that they are only there for goal line decisions)? That's a card in anybody's league.

Seen ;-)

Strangely, I can see a Croat being sent off if it stays like this. Then an Irish.

sick n tired of this knob calling him David Villa though.

One for the ladies while you're off making the tea:

who's the best looking Torres or Ramos?
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

If Italy win and Spain draw, Italy win the group and Spain go through in second place.

What is the Tie-breaking criteria? At this moment the table looks like this :

1. Italy, 5 pt, gd: 3-2
2. Spain 5 pt, gd: 5-1
3. Croatia 5 pt, gd: 4-2

All three of them are/had drawn against each other, so the goal difference will decide it all, if it stays like this, right? Then how is Italy winning the group?
