We've done well to qualify never mind win it. So fair play to England.

inspite of not marking the striker as he gets a free header and should have scored .Parker is the one player in your midfield you want out of the way. Always involved and always in the f*cking way of the players controlling the game .

We seem to be seriously lacking in key areas and were very, very lucky to take 3 points. Not because of their disallowed goal as it was clearly offside so evened itself out. More to do with how the ball bounced off 2 Ukraine defenders and then pushed from their keeper onto Rooney's bonce.

At least our back line look decent, they've needed to be. It's going through that counts though and that's probably more than most envisaged. Playing Italy rather than Spain is a real bonus as well, I think.

Ha ha ha, Gerrard describing Rooney's goal as a tap-in. Obviously stating it was all about his cross.

I think you'll find it wasn't a tap-in, it was a toupee-in.

I don't rate Wellbeck, I don't rate Young but when all's said & done, those two plus Rooney are Manchester Utd's forward line. They play together every week. Can somebody explain how they can possibly be that fucking shit ?

What we have just seen, was a below Championship standard performance by England's attackers, all 3 of whom play for the ex Champions. An occasional heavy touch, missed pass is one thing, but every fucking time , from all three ? How can they be that shit ? It's fucking unacceptable. Every fucking ball came straight back, short pass, long pass, on the chest, on the floor, to the head: EVERY FUCKING BALL CAME STRAIGHT BACK. Useless overrated fucking wankers.

This 100% love England but hate watching them.

We will get taken apart by Italy we can't string more than 6 passes together and my dad is faster than Terry. Can't help but feel Roy should have brought more young prospects and built for the world cup. At least RVP has managed to lower his transfer value by being missing every attempt on goal.

I know you are all happy and well done for going through and winning the group. However, the footballl is absolutely shocking and embarrasament for proud footballing nation.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

You're just annoyed that you can't gloat about us going out.

He's right though. We are playing shit football which is painful to watch. We can't seem to keep hold of the ball for more than a few seconds, passes are often too short or long and too many players have a first touch that makes Dzeko's look amazing

Eh?
Why would I want to gloat about something like that? It's not like Finland is in there. What gives you an idea that I have something against England national team?

Otherwise I follow international football as complete neutral just enjoying teams that play good football. My main interest is of course rooting for any team playing AGAINST teams that have City players. I want them out as soon as possible and hungry and raring to go when season kicks off. It would be disaster if one of our star players would go all the way. You can guarantee there's mental hangover that will continue during early parts of the new season, possibly even all the following season. That is very common.
