I was confronted by a Rag fan coming out of a public sh*tter at a MLS match this past saturday. He proceeded to ask me if I was wearing a manchester city jersey. I knew what was about to go down, so I played along and said "yes". The drunkard proceeded to say that I suck. I asked the obvious, "are you a manchester united fan I presume" to which he replied "Yea, of course."
With a smile on my face I held out Six Fingers flashing to one, while singing Blue Moon in front of about 4 or 5 of his mates and 10 or 12 people waiting to use the parking lot hopper. His friends got a kick out of me and started raggin' (no pun intended) on him about the 6-1 arse kicking. He kept shouting something about how he was going to kill me or this or that, i really couldnt hear him as I was singing walking back to my car. One of my finer moments.
Side note, had VIP passes through a friend of mine and got to meet the players and coaches, as well as tour the facility and walk the pitch. Besides my hometown Union losing , was a brilliant night.

I bet the players you met were chuffed to find that you were so happy to meet them, you wore another clubs "jersey" specially for the occasion.

I'm sure there are other things i could pick out of that, but it seems to be written in some sort of foreign language

Besides, my hometown team is only in its 3rd season and the kits have been horrid so far.

I dont think players in the MLS take offense. 20% of the kids there were wearing Barca, Arsenal, Man U kits. I was a City Supporter before my hometown even had a team! So, unfortunately Im supporting them whenever I get the chance to in public. Plus, the MLS Kits, or "Jeeeeeerzees"as we say here, are over 100 dollars and Im not a big fan of the Philly Unions two incarnations.
