Sergio Aguero's goal from all angles

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Sergio Aguero's goal from all angles

Postby Crossie » Thu Jun 21, 2012 6:02 pm

I'd never heard the "go onnn"........"goo onnnnn"...... bit just before the "yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" when that goal went in.

Its a good excuse to watch 4:13 of happiness.

Love the extended shots into the crowd, settling onto the more familiar shots we've seen a lot of. The zoom up to Khaldoon and that other crazy long silver haired rich looking guy.

Go on, spoil yourself.

*edit, us breaking the microphones is another awesome moment.

You Dancer, Crossie, I watched this a couple of days after the game and couldn't find it since. If I'm not mistaken it shows Mancini's full celebration?

Cheers pal, I'll have a look now ;-)

Edit: That's the badger, could watch that all day mate. Thanks.

Ha ha ha, that was my point in another thread. It's like he's trying to stop someone nicking his fruit pastilles or he's got some sort of lucky charm in there. Who'd have thought him and Pearce had so much in common ;-)

Where did Zabba end up when we scored that goal, does anyone know? You see Lescott peel off on his own to the left and then later on he is flat out on the deck and Kolarov appears to slid towards him. Joe gets it on with Gael and everyone else apart from Zabba are with Kun?? Where did Mad Zabba get to in the midst of all that carnage??

Every time I see it I notice Mancini running towards Kolo on the touchline and Kolo thinks he's going to get a hug then gets left standing on his own while the boss gets it on with someone else. And I always look for the big lad in the yellow check shirt with his hand on his head in disbelief at about 0.38, the lass with the long hair & glasses trying to catch her breath, the referee pointing to say it's a goal. But what would these five weeks have been like if Balotelli hadn't rolled that ball into Aguero's path, if Aguero had missed, if Kenny had blocked it? Maybe eventually we'd all have gotten over it, but without the states of orgasmic delirium settling into contented bliss that the ball hitting the net gave and keeps on giving.

Hadn't seen this extended version. Thanks Crossie for pointing it out. It's great and cannot get enough of it.
2 things I noticed today:
1. When Kun scores the ref (can't remeber who he was) points to the centre and then immediately chases after Kun. What was he doing, celebrating ? Otherwise you'd think he will give the players a minute to celebrate before rounding them up !!

2. And I thought of this from day 1, when Kun is through there is a QPR defender sliding at him (thought at first it was Ned but it wasn't) but Kun just about manages to skip him. What if he hadn't and he was caught ? Surely a penalty and then what. Who of our players would've had the nerves of steel to step up to take it ? Mario ? Maybe ?
Anyway we have to thank the gods of football that our players (and us) were spared of enduring that kind of agony !

Mike Dean was the ref.

I remember a user here, maybe Doomie, but i`m not convinced, saying i think in early january, if we will have a penalty in the last minute, with QPR, he would had sent texts to all his rags friends before Mario would had scored. That phrase remained stucked in my mind, so yes, Mario would had taken it and scored in his usual way.

PS: Did anyone find the slow motion celebration between Joe and Clichy on youtube? From what i saw, it was only on our official site.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.
