I agree with you Slim. The reality is that we can't have 25 men of the same quality as Yaya, Aguero, Vinnie, Silva etc. and while AJ may not be the most consistent performer he is in my opinion a very good addition to our squad and he does bring something different to our team. I'd just want to get him to work on his fitness as he always seems knackered after an hour if he starts

well, perhaps 40 are a tad much, but definitely not less than 25, particularly from a bunch of tosser who paid 20 mil each for Jordan Henderson and Stewart Downing...
always providing that we will either Muniain or Goetze in the other way round, which seems not very probable atm.
I still like AJ tho and I think he will have a major improvement next term if nobody shall come in.
Scored more than Carroll and that other England International combined, what was his name again? Let's call it 55 and it's a deal.
25 mil for AJ LOL. not a chance.
25, I said 55. 25 for each foot, he's got 2 you know.

25 for each foot, I dread to think what the other 5mill is for?

You liked that, didn't ya.

Much like Robben, hugging the right touchline around half way, he lacks the pace to threaten . But put him in the last third centrally with the goal and passing options either side of him and his skill and shooting power come to the fore. Unfortunately we have three others playing this role so he may have to move. but I'm sure this is how he will end up playing.
