I really think that the way we won it and the raw emotion that visibly flowed as a result has won us back all the 'I've got a soft spot for City' lot. I reckon even the likes of the degenerate crackhead will tromboning us next season.

Who cares if other club's fans hate you or take shots at you? Just enjoy the success. While I admire Newcastle's approach of trying to find cheap gems and the satisfaction that comes from seeing it pay off, I'd absolute kill for the rewards and the entertainment that a bottomless-pit bank balance can bring you.

if they hate us for winning who cares, if they hate us for being classless or getting cocky then that matters to me (and will to the owners).
Maybe we can be the first universally popular winning team?
As long as the scum still hate us that would be cool.

I think you're generally quite popular anyway, certainly compared to Chelsea when they did the same thing. I know on our forum the majority of our fans seemed to want you to win the league - although we have a shared hatred of your neighbours of course. Get rid of De Jong and you'll be universally liked up here ;)

Everyone bar one part time manure fan has congratulated us for winning title.
most people said it was amazing and they felt nearly but not quite as happy as us to watch us take our league title away from manure.
Most of those lots fans said well done but they'll get it back next season,to which they where told we'll be out of sight by Christmas.
Certainly down here we're well liked.

The key to popularity with fans is to play good football.

With the media it's all about profile. The bigger our profile, the more City friendly media people will appear.

The thousands of rags, scouse & London biased journos/media sticking a knife in us at every opportunity isn't going to change though.

It's funny how the question from Ragger's has been interpreted as 'Are We Going To Get Any Good Press' where the reality is he was asking are we all paranoid fucks and will it continue into next season, a sort of wind-up if you will.

Well, Ragger's, if we get the same sort of bullshit as we did last season then it will be as rife as ever, especially from me, and if the likes of Roberto Mancini and Patrick Vieira can point it out, so can we. If you don't like it, don't read it and you can go to that beach near you and stick your head in the sand.

It's all good.

Not trying to wind anybody up.Think half of you on here are paranoid. Am saying that considering we are now CHAMPIONS your argument of everybody conspining to make us fail is, nonsense and, don't you think it is stupid to keep banging the same drum.
Patrick and Bobby can say what they want dont mean I have to believe.A few weeks before the end of our CHAMPION season, Bobby said we had no chance.Did you believe him?

If it's not a wind-up then why not wait until the start of the season? I think you actually enjoy the threads posted as I've seen you are an avid viewer. Now, you start one being paranoid about those being paranoid, nothing's been said and may not be.

Personally, I feel that those who can't see what's before their eyes are naive and childish in a way, not wanting to believe that there's no problems in a business that has just had it's rights renewed for over £3 Billion pounds, exceeding all expectations and put down to our last gasp victory.

Start of the season and negotiations for the new TV deal are looking good however the chance of an increase in revenue is somewhat muted.
City start and are flying in the league, we beat United 6-1.
Errant decisions seem to go against us.
Bobby and Paddy voice their concerns at decisions against us and bring attention to the game.
Errant decisions start going in the way of the Rags.
Bobby states that the refereeing standards were the best in the world, now he believes the Italians were probably better.
The Rags stop getting the dubious decisions.
All played fair, City come back from an 8 point deficit, beating the Rags in front of a reported record 600 mil global audience.
City go on to win the league in momentous style, Sky are lapping it up.
Premier League sign new deal that nearly doubles the previous deal, helped by the amazing run-in to the season.

Your choice mate, but don't tell me how I should think or how I should view the game.

As I said, it's all good.

Now your just talking shit or taking things out of context in some sort of mis-calculated effort to try and push your opinion. The only half truth there was my view that under current circumstances Ramos should've been carded, even though it wasn't my view that he should've been so wind your neck in. What's the matter, did that comment upset you, is Ramos sacred?

As for telling you how to view the game, talk fucking sense man, where have I done that. You keep telling all and sundry who have a different view of an incident that they are paranoid and now you've gone to the extreme length to start a thread on the subject. You fucking love it don't you, being paranoid about the paranoia, it seems to be your favourite subject, the place where you feel the rise.

Pulling me up? I think your jacking yourself off!

Could you tell me what you mean't by that Mr.Beefster and page 22(for example) as I seem to take it as evidence of paranoia but if am mistaken please tell me.

Bloody hell, I've got my very own stalker! So, alright pal, here we go.

To answer this question first, I was highlighting how terrible he was. He stopped numerous shots but fumbled the ball out. I'm not sure if it was the clash early on but he'd even fumbled that one as well to give the German's the chance.

Just for you though, I'll remember not to be so cryptic in my musings and try not to instigate debate. Well, maybe not.

And here's what I said about regarding your 2nd.

Beefymcfc wrote:Looking at both those game, I'm disappointed. Not because of the games themselves as I've enjoyed every game so far and it's understandable why teams who should go through get a bit edgy in the final group game; one goal can take them out with these rules, just take Greece/Russia for an example.

What I didn't like was seeing the referee's giving decisions that can decide games. Take your pick, there were the slightest of touches against the Spaniard's that were given but desperate fouling challenges against the Croat's that were deemed as fair. Irish players sent off for next to nothing but given ball's all when they're on the attack.

I don't like seeing things like this (and I do trust my peeper's), even more so that it always goes for so called bigger teams; even though I wanted them to both go through.

Now, I'm sure you watched as one was your country. As you see, there was no paranoia in there whatsoever, just observations from the game. If you've not noticed, this is what I do, observe the game and comment on it using the media of MCF.net. What this does is allow people to interact or leave it be, it's their choice. Or, I could just say 'Good Game' and move on, creating no debate or any need to be on the site.

So, where did I say the Irish got shafted?

Now, for your last 2 observations:

Rag_hater wrote: According to you the Irish got shafted,Nani should have had a pen,Ramos should have been carded for a well timed tackle and just lately according to you the Greek goalie was tapped up.Thing is mate I will stop calling you para, when, like as you say you stop telling me how I should view the game.I don't think you can though so don't expect me to stop pulling you up when I see the chance.

Here's my post regarding Nani:

Beefymcfc wrote:Now the fuck-wit is inferring that it was a penalty for Nani!

Aggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh

Now, where did I say it should have been a penalty?

Lastly, the Ramos challenge. I stated that I thought it should've been a card as even though he toed the ball onto the player he still slid and went through the tackle. Within the same debate I also stated that for me that wasn't a foul and that it would be classed as a decent challenge but due to the current climate regarding tackles then it should have been a card. Furthermore, I complained about the 2 tier way of dealing with it, ie. different decisions inside and outside of the box.

Now, if you find any of that paranoid then I'm afraid that it is you who have the problem, not me. I put down my observations for all to critique and am always willing to back up my thoughts. If you have a problem with my posts, please feel free to add to the debate, ask me how I came to those conclusions or at least put up a decent argument to counter my claims. That way, you'll get the full story, or at least an inckling at what I'm going on about.

Just for you though, I'll make sure I post more and more about the controversial points that I see and PM you so you don't miss it. That way, you won't have to follow me around or route through my previous posts, posts that you cannot even read correctly.

Penalty for Nani, you're having a fucking giraffe. Or was it just a lie?

A hint of totally uncalled for anti City bias in a headline about the Olympic torch passing through this area ? Just a hint perhaps ?

I have no explanation for that you're probably right its another example of the anti-city bias but seeing as we are CHAMPIONS I tend to go along with that old saying that sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me.
