Young

not because he's a rag but he is one of the worst players to ever pull on an england shirt - passenger all competition

Woy made a massive mistake bringing milner off, who had been firing in brilliant crosses all night, at the same time as bringing carroll on - what was he thinking?

Thank fuck Italy won. I would of hated to be embaressed big time by the Germans.

As for Roy Hodgson......Hmmmm........playing the 3 clowns.....Rooney, Welbeck & Young!

Agreed about Milner, he was playing great, as soon as he went off, we folded.

It's wrong isn't it. I like football to be about football, not about who brings in the masses.

Young has been gash all tournament but Hodgson felt that he had to keep in on, even though he put us under pressure with every touch. I championed Hodgson as I thought he'd be his own man, how very wrong can someone be.

Mario though, had a cracking gamem well done that man. Seems to have grown up this game.

Look on the bright side, at least the FA sold some shirts.

I think he had to. I think Roy had a "moment" when he realised he brought so many Liverpool players, so he had to bring balance to the team, by using the Three Stooges up front.

Look, at Villa i liked Young. In the system O"Neill had he was very good, however, i became disgusted by this twat, after his first game as a rag, with WBA, when he kissed the badge, after so many years in Birmingham, he suddenly felt in love with the filth. This and that fucking celebration he had with Blackburn, when he scored and they thought they won the title.

Milners best game of the tournament and he takes him off?

Young Rooney and wellbeck wouldn't pass to anyone other than a fellow rag, felt sorry for andy Carroll as time after time he brought the ball down laid it to young or Rooney only for them to lose the ball again. Cunts!

Can I just add, Rooney, playing a full match after not really playing for 2 months! Wake up boys, it's not going to work, just like bringing in Park for the Derby, football's not about money, it's about winning.

If this carries on I'll start losing my faith, and I'm the biggest advocate of national football, but like you say Roy, it's about the fans. Don't lose us pal, just stick to your guns.

The bloke was really shit in the friendlies previous to this but scored, so everyone thought he'd played well.

He is an average player, as is Wellbeck.

DeFoe is a better striker than Wellbeck & Adam Johnson is a better player than Ashley young. But to be fair, neither Young nor Wellbeck were helped by Rooney, who has once again followed the long tradition of rag star players underperforming for England.

I lost any respect I had for Hodgson when he left Micah out of the squad. His decisions tonight have not changed my mind

In the end, he had two attacking wide players & two strikers on, just like Harry would have done, & we looked miles worse than when Milner was on. At least we got out of the group, which Harry would have fucked up imo.

Neither of them have anything to offer England other than treading water though.

Milner played not bad, but take the man city glasses of-all his passes in into the box were crap-no good ball fit the strikers to use

Ted Hughes' comment about treading water sums it up perfectly.

I'm not gonna blame someone for missing a penalty but just wonder why he was still on the pitch a that stage.

Ashley Young on the other wing did the sum total of diddly squat less than Milner who was on the wing to protect the worst right back in the world.Go figure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
