Good to see you around mate.
I don't see the progress either but Mancini seems adamant to give him chances. I'm not going to doubt Mancini but I don't see any progress with Mario, playing style or being less of a loose cannon.
that's because you don't want to (crave to) see it enough. It's there, and he will be king one day. At City
I hope you are right mate. You may or may not have noticed that I've mostly stayed away from all the millions of Balotelli arguments. Mainly because I trust The Great Mancini. However, like I said, I haven't seen much progress in his game. I do think he is massive talent though.
I think he's absolutely drinking at the 'Last Chance Saloon' as far as Mancini is concerned.
He really wants Balotelli to succeed & can see what he could bring but Mario needs to behave with some responsiblity & soon, or Bob will write him off imo. He could be like Cant**a, a headcase for life. I hope not.
I think so too. He really does have all the attributes (playing wise) to become one of the world's finest strikers. I mean last night, he made it look so easy. His first against United, the way he just stroked it in as if it was the easiest thing in the world. He's supremely talented.

I would very much like Benzema at City, but as he would be expecting to be first on the teamsheet who do you sit down out of Tevez and Aguero? I think if anything, Benzema would be pursued to replace Tevez rather than Dzeko. I am quite happy with him at number 3/4, not sure how that sits with Dzeko but it is the reality of the situation.

Good.
Tevez and aguero will be better than van persie next season (he won't score 30+ goals in the prem ever again), they are both better than Cavani. They are both better than benzema.
Dzeko and balo are both good for 15 goals each and that will be adequate cover. They are big and good in the air so with a good crosser that can be put up to 20.
We have enough upfront it is delivery options we need.

Real Madrid will not sell Benzema, and RVP is too old for what we are trying to build. Also I seriously doubt he will have another season like the last again in his career. I honestly think neither will be headed to city. However, I do think Benzema would suit us very well. I'm not a big fan of RVP. He likes to be the main man, which is Sergio for us I'm afraid.

I was in the Cabanna take away last week and Mike Summerbee was in there and he said we've signed 3 players to be announced after the Euros. Wouldn't say who they were but one of them is a player the rags were after last season so must be either Modric or Sneider

He says that every year though. I think he just hedges his bets. I'm sure that's where Harry got his 'City have signed 3 players/blow everyone's minds/out of the water, etc' bollox from last season; talking to his mate Summerbee.

Anyway, I agree that he still needs some growing up to do, but I don't think it's fair to act like he's the same as when he first arrived. He has managed to progress fairly substantially, considering his starting point.
I think the striker that Mancini really wants is a grown-up Mario Balotelli, and I can't really argue with that.
Didn't he also stamp someone and get retroactively punished and then there was the tackle on Song that he should have been punished for and the fact he missed the opening games of the Champions League due to him getting a red in the last European game of the previous campaign? He is a dick bag that will never grow up. He threatens our team attitude with his lack of mental control. The sooner he is gone the better off we are. Schitzo for sure.

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

So you're of the opinion that we won the title despite having mario? I just don't agree with that. He's 21 years old, it's not always a smooth road developing young talent, but the potential payoffs are worth it. And that is why bobby persists.
