Balo vs Dave

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Balo vs Dave

Postby Dronny » Sat Jun 30, 2012 5:14 pm

Who do you fancy tomorrow?

Who will it effect the most if they win?

Who will it effect the most if they lose?

Personally I hope Italy win as they're my default team when England get knocked out of comps, more so now that Balo plays for them. So my perfect result would be a 2-1 Italy win, Silva for Spain and Mario with a brace, Golden Boot and winners medal.

I want Italy to win, the Spanish spend way too much time pussyfooting around. It's no longer funny. They have forgotten the golden rule of shooting at the goal once you are in the box

I never thought I'd say this, but I want Italy to win. Preferably with a Balotelli hat trick!

I'm growing more and more tied of Spain's style. It's just plain boring.

I hope Balo smashes them.
For a KID to go through what he's been through in his 21 years on this earth is more than what most of us will go through in our whole lives; from being given away by his mum to being racially abused every time he tries to do his job!
I fuckin love that kid!!!

Balo to score two our little magic man to score two pens after and boring Spain to win to achieve something historical and cheer up the people here for a few days.

must admit that my excitement at Italy's performances has grown well above my expectations along the tournament.
All in all, I think I will just enjoy the game, providing that none of them will get injured.

I think Italy will win, they do have form late in tournaments.

That being said, couldn't give a toss who wins it.

I'm definitely in the pro Italy camp.

Not just Balo, but tactically they've been suburb in this tournament. I don't think many fancied them and they've been fantastic so far.

I am a bit tied on this one.

Just got back from a "Boiling" Spain last night after visiting my Brother in Law and seeing my beautiful baby niece.

Watched both semi's and the atmosphere for the spain game was immense.

Having saying that watched the germany/italy game in a bar with germans , english and spanish people and everybody thought Mario was incredible.

Really looking forward to it and I have got a sneaky feeling for the Italy but will be really chuffed for spain as well because of my family connections and the wonderful people I know in Spain.

I'm not mithered, I just want to see a good game in the knowledge that one of them is coming back a Euro Champion, the other one is just coming back a winner.

I think Italy should have beaten Spain in the 1st game, so really have a great chance but which Spain will we get ?

I'm hoping (and it is only hope rather than expectation) that Mr Potato Head will encourage Spain to go forward and attack in this game, as they have now avoided any pitfalls and reached the final, so fear of failure should not be an issue.

Imo, if Spain play as they can, they are too good for the Italian defence & because they have the ball all the time, they will not concede many opportunities. If they don't threaten however & Italy go for them, Mario is too good for Piquet.

I also think that Iniesta wants Fabregas in the team & doesn't pass to Silva a often as he should.

I love Dave but I hope Italy wins for Balo''s sake with him scoring the winner. This will silence Balo's critics once and for all.

I wonder if Delbosque will show some guts and pick Llorente. that will open a different dimension to Spain possession, but it seems quite unlikely.
