A player of slightly less but still World Class standard may also improve the short term results but make the team better as well. That is the kind of player we should be looking for imo, not a self centred show pony.

Probably said without much thought - but I would expect there are many long-term (and therefore long-suffering) CITY fans that are thoroughly enjoying what the Sheik has brought to us - but really really do not want that absolute toerag anywhere near our club

1/ you may have missed some posts, but

2/ for a guy that now only works a few days a month I seem to be very busy and have no time - warning to all out there that retirement needs to be carefully planned if you are not to find all your time swallowed up my other stuff - or in my case socilaising, being down the pub and being away on holiday

3/ I largely live for CITY - and this is a CITY fans webiste - whilst I do log in most days for a peruse I am looking for 'new' things about CITY and if I do not see any, - e.g. a transfer - I dip out again. I am just biding time until the start of the season really - and I get the feeling that a lot on here are as well as most of the posts seem to be of a 'bored / killing time' nature

I told it would have been a long boring summer, now that there's very few which can improve City:
we have been missed the major transfer target but acquired 2 boardroom blokes who should help to smooth your major point of concern.
re.: carefully planned retirement. it's far too long off my sight, but as thingies stand now I would better plan an escape from Italy rather than retirement. unfortunatelly my family commitment won't allow me to do so (and hope it may last for a long while yet)

Ronaldo's Real Madrid stats are amazing but the only fair comparison is the performance of both, at a top club, in the same league.

Aguero's performance in his 1st Prem season of 30 goals and 12 assists in 48 games was only bettered once by Ronaldo in 6 years at OT. So basically Aguero is already better than Ronaldo was for most of his Prem League career.

He also has a much better record than Ronaldo at international level.
