Far from convinced we need him or that he fits our style of play. If his form last season could be replicated for the next three years then I guess you would be daft to say no but he has a history of injuries, will have little resale value and his wages will be detrimental to FFP.

agree. We scored the most goals in the league last year with 93. 93 goals and we're gunna shell out £20m+ for another striker? Unless we're selling Tevez/Dzeko/Balo we don't need another IMO.

neutral for me...not because i think he lacks quality, but his age is a worry for me. Sure he might have 3 top seasons left, but i'd rather have a 24 year old striker if we're selling Edin or Tevez.

If we get him i won't cry...i'll be excited to see how he fits in. However, i think someone that can fucking cross a ball and has some pace on the wing and CB coverage are higher priorities and i'm starting to get pissed that 3 days into the formal transfer window we haven't addressed either. ;)
