No because we've got Aguero. Tevez, Balotell.
No because he won't have as good a season again.
No because he's a nasty piece of work.

This is football in 21st century. All it takes is that Arse owners hand him a big paycheck or promises of new signings/strAtegy for the club and he could stAy there. And would arse fans love him again? Sure they would. All RVP would have to do is to say "I love arse, I'll want to finish my career here".
Football/players/fans are fickle and long gone are the days when people lived up to what they say

We'll also have a better idea next season as to where our fab four strikers are at.

And I'd rather sign Messi on a free. Not happening, is it. After that statement on his website there's no way back for him, he's leaving them this window and that's that.

If you check what he has written on his website, all he has said is that he's not signing a new deal. He hasn't said he's going anywhere, or leaving. Just that he's not signing a new deal.

He also kind of hinted that should arsenal radically alter their direction he'd be talked round.

He's played a blinder there in my opinion.

Still hate the cunt mind.

Strange that Arsenal bring in Podolski and Giroud knowing Persie is in his last year, or is it?

Get him in. Class player who would add value no doubt.

I could see Mancini playing him in say 30/35 games per season, at a conservative estimate, if his goal ratio is one in two then that's 15 goals per season. It goes without saying that he could produce so much more than even that though. On the injury issue if he is out some then we have good talent up front to cover that.

We would lose out financially when it's time to sell on and his wages will be costly but we are in the position to invest in potentially very promising talent here. I do get the feeling though, that the club may be luke warm about this taking everything into account, especially finances. A three year deal would suit us.

On a sidenote, does anybody find it wierd that last season was the only one he's really competed in without injury?

Many have mentioned that he's a terminal sick note and an old bastard. So, no. No one finds it weird.

He's also one of the best 5 strikers in world football over the last 5 years wouldn't you say?

Is he? He's had a couple of good seasons and one excellent season and that's mainly because Arsenal play 'Give it to bloody Persie'.

He's a 1 in 2 player and nobody can deny he's a class player, top 5 in the world though, I'm not sure.

to be frank, all these voices pouring from City players start to worry me.

and to add to beefy's: has RvP ever lived up to his reputation when the going got tough for Holland?
I think Edin, playing with a buch of pub mates, if You compare Bosnia internanal to the Oranges, has been much more decisive... and he's much younger and not injury prone.

5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...
