Postby Tony P » Fri Jul 13, 2012 8:36 am

Here we are again. I was supposed to be pootling down the autobahn to Innsbruck but unfortunately it can't make it. What I can do is start the first match thread of this season.

So, expected lineups???

Panty
Zaba Komps Kolo Kolarov

Yaya ????

Weiss Tev Johnno

Kun

I know it won't be anything like this, but it's fun to guess.

Incorrectly start it. That is way too many stars for anything official.

Team to play first half tonight is Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Kompany, Rekik, Biton, Yaya, Lopes, Johnson, Tevez, Scapuzzi
Roberto Mancini was the man who brought us our first trophy in 35 years. He was the man that brought us our first league title in 44 years. He brought us one of the greatest moments of our lives. He masterminded a 6-1 win at Old Trafford, and a Wembley win over United. He challenged Ferguson, he argued with him on the touchline, he brought success, and he punched the air in delight with the rest of us at the madness of it all. He had style, panache and a winning smile. All those memories he gave us will never be forgotten, in a wonderful period in this club’s long history.
And I swear, we’ll never see anything like it again.

i've got the sopcast running ...

like the look of lopez, how old is he meant to be? biton looks calm ... but I hope he doesn't get too calm. I'm excited for tevez to have a full pre-season and possibly be with us for an entire season.
