As I see it, Weiss is living on a constant show off everywhen he step on a pitch. I've lost my hopes on him since quite long

sorry for the river Carl, from here it worked fine.

So you think this friendly was, let's say, a little TOO friendly?

This is a disgrace. Remember the past two seasons when we lost trial games? It was a joke then and a joke now. It was because we lost those games that we only won one trophy when it should have been 4 or 5.

Everyone OUT!!

Actually I saw Al Hilal - when considered their benchmark - going for it pretty intensly, but yes, our lads looked out just for an Austiann stroll. while I can think it's natural for the seniors, I hoped that the youngsters would have taken this couple of weeks as the defining moments of their season: the chance to make their way to a first team future.
as said, perhaps it's just muscles overloaded. or it's just that all these Italians have imported too much of italian sins... ;)
slightly disappointed for that the CHAMPIONS started their PRE-season with a defeat, tho.

Crappy fucking stream it was but hey ho. What I gathered from it was that it was good jogging exercise for the lads. As it should be at this stage.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

concentrating on the positives from that game, I thought the new home kit looked great.

The lad is a fucking muppet anyway. Started throwing his oar in last season and couldn't post without mentioning the rags for the first six months. Then started comparing football to fucking basketball.

Now he's actually become some kind of city rag of that's possible. Calling a training excercise "a disgrace".

Grade A knob.

A couple of positives for me were.....

a) the kit...which I agree looked pretty good in action. Much better than last year's I have to say...white shorts making most of the difference

b) a couple of the youngsters looked pretty good. Omar Ellabdelouai I thought looked good with the ball and with more football intelligence than Vlad (as noted above!). I thought Biton was quietly efficient....looked reluctant to move forward with the ball and was always looking for the simple ball but that's not a bad thing at this stage I don't think and likely is what he'd been told to do. Lopez looks very good for 16...and looked like he was on the same wavelength as the likes of Tevez which again can't be anything but a positive. Rekik looks like he is really going to be the business, that is a very exciting prospect. I'll be very interested to see what our "second choice" centre halves are this season. I don't think we should be considering relying on Rekik yet but the question is whether we'll buy someone or look to rely on a combination of Rekik/Savic alongside Kolo.....I don't think we should as it's a bit risky but it wouldn't surprise me if we do so.

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Well that was a dreadful match if ever i saw one.Why do i always look forward to preseason? it's generally just crap.

As others have said already it was good to see such promise in the likes of Rekik, Lopez and Helan. No other positives to take from it.

The attendance was desperate.
