I cant understan that guy at all what is or was hes point m somthing nobody will play for City if we dont have money or somthing like that and in general all guys who bitch abaut money like they players play for free in their clubs . Best response is by Ted , Arsenal is one of the clubs who use to be elite and now when sombody else have money its problem its just stupid and i felt kind sorry for that kind of guys to bitter by City become a force in football.

This is a genuine question...

If Edin signed for them (and started every week), do you think Arsenal would win the league?

First that would be stupid for Edin if he can play in Bayern or AC why go to Arsenal who is on downfall and one player no mather how hes good or in form cant bring titels maybe in some shite leugue one player can have that impact like dont know Messi in Bosnia :) so no.

I think Samir Nasri summed it up well at the end of the season:

"I hope they are watching me now collecting my Premier League winner’s medal,” said Nasri as he talked about the supporters at the Emirates Stadium.
"I believe they have not won a trophy for many years now.
"I now hope the Arsenal fans can get on with their lives and forget me, they should celebrate their third-place achievement and I will focus on winning titles."

In all seriousness, though, I was reading a piece from the Romford Pele about potentially swapping Dzeko for RvP. While there is a considerable difference in talent between the two, I think Arsenal need to adopt the policy of "for every one player out, bring one player in". Just enough to bolster the squad.

That doesn't mean Karl Pilkington or Karl Jenkinson or whatever his name is in place of Gael Clichy, Mr Wenger! (...and breathe)

Rumours scotched

And Dzeko has now also poured cold water on the reports, insisting he is focused on the Premier League club.

The 26-year-old told his official website: "After new speculation about my departure from City and the statements of individuals, who are talking like they are my manager, I would like to inform the public that I have not had any negotiations with Milan.

"My manager is Irfan Redzepagic and neither of us are pushing for my departure from City.

"I'm only focused on Manchester City and I do not care about media speculation, especially when it comes from people who have nothing to do with me."

Don't you mean 'City continue to warehouse players by refusing Edin's dream move to Milan. Blatter accuses City of treating Edin like a slave'?

Agreed. Was disappointing to hear him talking this cack. In our hour of victory when he should've been gracious he was gloating over and goading his former club, made himself out to be a right tit.

To be fair, the guy would have been buzzing off adrenaline having just won the league in such style and is then asked by a reporter about how he feels towards the Arsenal fans who have abused him all season and still continue to do so.

It's easy to say he shouldn't have said anything, but I imagine a lot of people would have said something similar. The majority of Arsenal fans I know I extremely arrogant when it comes to their side and so Nasri was just giving them a taste of their own medicine.

IanWright (the poster, not the player) always comes onto this board to have a reasonable discussion, and it's great getting his viewpoint. Unfortunately, most Arsenal fans aren't like that, and have a particular dislike for City due to our newfound success.

I agee with this to an extent.

I was watching a season review when they showed Nasri's first MCFC interview. They asked something along the lines of "what have you got to say to those fans who say you only moved for the money?".

He simply answerd "We will see what they say at the end of the season when we are the champions of England".

Arsenal fans tend to have a problem taking the flak they constantly dish out.

Nasri denied saying that on Twitter when he saw the Guardian article that carried them quotes. Funnily enough his denial didn't hit the mainstream media, not sensational enough I guess

His tweet:

"Wow just saw the article that the guardian made about my comment [to TF1] my apologies to the arsenal fans i never said something like this"

He followed up that tweet with a couple to Piers Morgan in which he denied even speaking to TF1

@piersmorgan you and me playing games and criticies [sic] each others it's funny but i never said the stuff at the gardian [sic] or the french tv."

"@piersmorgan i didnt speak with tf1 so stop with the polemic."

Who to believe? A French TV station looking for ratings or a footballer who still has good friends at the club he allegedly made the disparaging remarks about.

I actually agree with you!

If there are fans of other clubs who have treated me & City with respect when discussing football, (like Ian Wright on here for example), I would never dream of giving them shit & gloating, but when you get characters like this other little tosser, who mouths off shite & probably didn't know football existed before the Premier League, they deserve every bit of abuse & gloating that they get.

I'm in Norway right now & every single rag I have spoken to has congratulated me on City's title & every single one of them (& the Liverpool fans) has said that City played the best football in the Premier League & deserved to win it; not Spurs, not Arsenal, CITY.

So I treat them with the respect they deserve (banter yes, arrogance no) but any cunt who has been a smartarse gets both barrels & so they should.
