Far East friendlies

Arsenal v Malaysia XI just finished.
2-1 to Arsenal but they needed 2 very late goals. Malaysia had some decent players up front not afraid to shoot.
The game was very open and both teams created lots of chances - plenty for us to be encouraged by or worry about depending on how full your glass is.

Dzeko hasn't played for a single minute in any of the games so far and now he's not on the plane that just left for China this evening ... is he being sold quietly, some deal in the making that press hasn't yet often hold of?

Although to be fair, he just tweeted this (after a lot of other players tweeted their photos sitting in plane) ...

@EdDzeko: Still not 100% fit, thats why im not travelling to China with the team.

Not a very convincing excuse that, in my opinion ... so he doesn't have an injury per say but he is not 100% fit? I mean who is? Isn't that what the friendlies are for to get back in shape an up to speed ...

That's a shitter if true.

Nige is one of us now. Be horrible to play against the German rags with him wearing their shirt.

Whatever happens with Nige he'll always get the upmost respect from me. I reckon he wants to be back on the continent but you never know, a last minute deal maybe struck. He just can't hold on for too long otherwise he'll be fighting a cheaper replacement, in my opinion.
