I started watching that game since it started an hour before the USA/France game and forgot to switch over. USA/France is tied 2-2 40 minutes in.

Superb goal-line clearance by the Canadian number 10. Still 2-0 to Japan though.

I've just noticed they are showing the 2nd half of the Brazil v Cameroon game on BBC 3, I wonder if they are as good as their male compatriots?

Looks even better now as Canada make it 1-2. Very nice goal.

Absolutely.

Japan-Canada is a decent match.

Looks like the "superb clearance" may have gone over the line.

Just heard, 2-1 isn't it.

There's some real quality in parts of these games and I don't mind admitting that it's better than I thought it'd be.

Martinez sent off for Spain. Japan winning 1-0 and De Gea looking as ropey as ever.

Japan look very dangerous, showing how to play against a possession based side. T'is a very good game.

Just seeing the goals from the Honduras v Morocco game, 2 quality strikes from Morocco.

Would like to say that the women’s game has come on leaps and bounds in the last 10 years or so. I actually wanted the GB game yesterday and enjoyed it. In the past I have cringed watching women’s football as its looked really slow and crap. GB played some decent stuff and with a bit more composure could have won by more. Saying that New Zealand did miss a sitter.

On a side note to the women’s GB side I have been disappointed that it only includes 2 Scots and all the rest the English women’s team. It’s a fact that the best player in the English women’s game of the last 10 years have been Jayne Ludlow the Welsh midfielder who plays for the Arse. I can only presume she in injured for her not to have made the squad. If she isn’t injured then it’s a travesty that she hasn’t been selected.

He is indeed playing....not too badly so far either.

Be interesting to see who starts the season at RB on the basis that Micah will have been involved in this. You have to assume that Pablo will pick up where he left off?
