Great news this though.

When he first played at centre back, he was getting mugged at set pieces by no mark strikers but has learned from his mistakes much quicker than most & much quicker than I thought he would at the time. Now he is certainly one of the best defenders around & imo will get better still. He is also one of those players who has a presence which is possibly even greater than his actual ability but that all goes into the mind of the oppo so it's all part of being a legend. And his dealings with the media are second to none.

Such a top geezer too. I agree that 6 years may just be an early part of Vinny's relationship with City.
