The OS....again

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The OS....again

Postby ant london » Fri Jul 27, 2012 5:49 pm

Sorry as a I know we've had multiple threads on this over the past couple of years but how lucky are we, as fans, to have the OS we do.

The coverage and features during this pre-season have been absolute class. Like the rest of you I'm dying for the real action to begin but it's been enjoyable following all the action in Austria and now China on the website.

I've no idea how much the club is committing financially to keep the material and content coming but it is just top top top class.

Love the away kit launch with the Chinese lad Da Long.....it just feels brilliant for us to start to become known globally (success is only going to help this and I think markets like China are similar to the Mid East where it isn't remotely frowned upon to start following a team for their success...indeed, people are perplexed as to why anyone might follow a team which is not successful!)

The SOS Childrens' Village video is a nice touch, great that the club has supported the charity that our captain personally does a huge amount for....love Buzzer representing us also, he is quality....still got some skills for an auld fella too.

Hats off City and keep it free and flowing

You obviously weren't trying to watch today's game on it!

Think City's whole media experience is excellent, including the facebook and twitter stuff. Don't know how it compares to other clubs, but I really like how much you can find out. There is no need for any internetted City fan to ever buy a paper. Wonder if that's why we get so much stick?

No, I wasn't....good old LoF! haha

I've never had much luck watching any games streamed on there but I won't hold that against them as the rest is just so so good.

I've rarely got good live streams from the OS but that's a bonus feature anyway.

I agree, we are lucky. It's fantastic.

'twas a rumour they were planning a tv channel - anyone got any news?

The club have made it clear on many occasions that they are committed to City TV being as part of the web site which will be a free service. They have consistently said they don't want a TV channel al la Rags or Liverpool.

TV channels are the past, the sharing individual items through the internet is the future. We are a club of the future, therefore we will distribute content through the internet.

talking about friendly, anyone knows whether the Club will be gracious again tonight?
I suspect not that much, but with the Olympics taking up the whole show there no way any italian broadcaster will help my desire of City.
hope for good rivers
