I still love his goal in the cup against Scunthorpe - it's a shame he didn't take things more seriously.

But wasted talent defiantly, looked a very good player at one point.

Yes I would. And I agree with the underlined bit but apparently you are not allowed to say that round here.

Yes, we all probably would, but it doesn't mean as supporters of the club that we have to put our hands together in a polite golf clap style round of applause and say "well played sir, well played" when he is obviously pulling the fucking piss out of the club and doing it with a smile on his face and a drink in his hand.

Sometimes I wonder I really fucking do.

I say it everytime a thread of him appears but we should have snapped Newcastle's hands off when they offered £8million for him.

Wasnt Newcastles offer bullshit? As at the time the geordie supports werent happy at the lack of transfers/money spent, so they publicly put in an 8 million pound offer for a player who they knew was injured & had no chance of passing a medical.

He's always a sound bloke for a chat tho.

Bloody Hell pretty sad tale. I had a few beers with him last year, seemed quite chipper (and pissed), and confident he would sort it out.

If you see him again mate, give him my number; I'll do his garden for him, I think he can probably afford it.

Lock him in a room with Paul Lake for half an hour. Lazy ungratious piss-artist. (...Johnson, not Lake.)

Are we sure that the piss artist part hasn't come because of the injury/illness though.

Didn't he have the same thing Fletcher has got ?

If that's the case, it's a bit ubfair to be down on the lad if he's become a bit of a mess due to seeing his career fucked up by illness.

Quite. I'm pretty sure that half an hour with Paul lake would involve counselling and might be quite helpful as he adjusts to a much more mediocre future than the one he seemed destined for.
