Nasty, sullen, petulant, self-pitying, pouting, moaning, big-headed,cheating twat, and not as talented as he thinks he is.
Suarez, that is.

That young Scottish swimmer was very good, he impressed me a lot, Reckon he could be useful on a waterlogged pitch and that kid in the diving could get us a few pens.

The football has been more adventurous but it's hard to compare the overall quality from memory. I'd say Team GB have been miles more dynamic than Euro 2012 England, and a one-off game between the two sides would be difficult to call.

The GB team has done the stuff I was moaning about with England & mentioned on here re City when Agger was suggested as a 'ball playing defender' ; the midfield has been going back & DEMANDING the ball from Micah & Co. When they do that, Micha looks perfectly comfortable passing it to them & receiving it back provided another midfielder makes himself available for a return pass. You don't need ball players at the back if the midfield play with brains.

When the midfield stop doing it, GB look poor. When they start again, GB look good. It's not rocket science.

Gerrard, Beckham, Scholes, Lampard all neglected that kind of pass & move football when they had the chance to get England playing it. Gerrard rarely made himself available for such passes in the Euros & often left the defenders to do it.

These guys in the GB midfield are not fit to lace the boots of those England players, but they have at least TRIED to play the game correctly.

The so called 'Golden Generation' of England players were a bunch of self centered wankers who only played for themselves.

If we are serious about Cavani btw, seeing as this lad Bellamy is obviously much better than him, can we sign him instead ?

i said it at the time of his departure, and i still feel the same way, what 18 months later....i miss Bellers and i'd have him in the squad right now, today. If i met him i think i'd well up with tears. Mad respect for him and how hard he works for the shirt. A throwback.

cheers

Agree100%. Or Sturridge. Ramsey didn't look remotely confident.

Hope Micah and the keeper are alright there.

Edit: At least he's off that stretcher.

I thought it was Micah's head now he is limping.... the boy is just an injury machine, and usually his own doing through effort. Want him on my team forever!

Micah gone down the tunnel injured.
And people questioned Bale for making the right decision by not going.
