I think the 3 of them can play together. IMO, Tevez is as good as an attacking midfielder. He usually drops into mid and leaves Aguero up alone. If things go wrong, Nasri could always replace Tevez in that position.

No, until tevez drops or we're in serious shit.

Does it negate Silva's role?

I expect us to start the season 3-5-2.

.............Hart

Richards Kompany Lescott

Barry
Zabs Yaya Silva Kolarov

......Tevez Aguero

Until it fucks up and doesn't work away at the better clubs then we ditch it and go 4-3-3- and destroy all before us like last season.

i thought "balla" was "balo" mispelled, but sadly it appears to have been intentional.

Anybody think we'll get an away day at York?

I think we could play the three of them, but it means Yaya would have to play in a more passive position so we are not left wide open.
We can't have Yaya, Silva, Balo, Tevez & Aguero all attacking at once all the time as we would be susceptible to counters every attack.

You know, I think Mancini loves what he's got. Aguero, Carlos, Dzeko and Mario, it's got to be the best attacking threat in the world of football.

It's hard to beat.

If we do a

silva -- tevez -- Mario

-------Aguero

It could work. Mario can play on the wing and Tevez can drop deeper. That lineup actually looks very scary. Especially when you consider Yaya behind them. Hard to see them not scoring

Mario can't play on the wing though can he. He can't dribble passed players and he isn't blessed with pace.

I've seen him drift past players plenty of times. He won't out sprint anyone over 50 yards, but he has 5-10 yards of pace/power to get by almost anyone. And he has featured for us and Inter on the wing many times before.

On the actual wing? Or do you mean on the left of a front 3, which is two completely different things.
