What a game though - I've been really impressed with both sides, playing good flowing football, tactically aware, physically strong, very determined as well as skillfull.

One or two reasonably fit as well

Fuck me 'full blooded' is an understatement, how that Canadian (Scott) has picked herself off the turf after that challenge I don't know!! Deffo want Canada to win, looks like pens

Canada played their hearts out but you always sensed it was going to go the USA's way. Cruel that, the Canadians deserved at least a penalty shoot out, though i doubt their dodgy keeper would have saved many.

jesus that alex morgan is fucking adorable. American fightback for the win. These girls are fantastic and fun to watch. I love this team.

Decent game, full-blooded committment, not too much cycicism, one or two touches of skill, a very enjoyable watch. Gb women should feel no shame going out to Canada.

What I think this tournament shows is the emerging strength of the Japanese and Koreans. Both nations have done tremendously well in addressing their shortcomings. Expect more of these players to join the Prem very soon.
