I like the sci-fi so I'll go with the clones ;-)

You answered the question though, that's why I heard him say a brace for Dzeko.

Lescott will have had tougher games in his back garden against his kids!

I might be wrong but I think Facey has had England recognition at some level.
Suarez is a very talented footballer but imo he didnt have a good game tonight.Part of that may have been the quality he was playing with as well as against.

It does seem weird that Filipo was gettig some game time as he clearly isnt good enough for us but the same can be said of quite a few there tonight. The game was all about match time for Clichy,Milner,Dzeko,Lescott,Boyata plus more time for Suarez and Lopes to get the feel of playing with these guys and for the "first" team.

Absolutely.

Fucking joke.

we can only assume that the other candidates who could have played are elsewhere working on their fitness and would not have benefitted from this game.Roberto Mancini knows Filipo has no part to play in our first team

There are loads of kids who could be playing & are better than either Mancini or Scapuzzi.

When the ball came to Mancini Jr, he just farted about having fun. He knows he's on a jolly. It's wrong.

Really disappointed with Harry Bunn. Looked like a real potential goalscorer but seems to have stood still.

Lopez is getting upto speed though. It's been obvious all along that he had talent but he was picking the wrong options almost all the time possibly due to nerves. Now he is picking mostly the right ones. Next, hopefully, he'll score a screamer, as he has a real shot on him. That will give him confidence if & when it happens.

If I was in love with the misleading of FACTS like You recently appears to be -since You have been lost among fjiords and blondes, at least - I'd say that You are slagging and vilifying the MCFC Owners and Chairman by implying that the manager they have appointed is wasting opportunities to develop better prospects in favour of his own family interest.
But because I am not, I'd better say that we could forgive Mancini for showing a little part of his Italian DNA throughout glimpses of preseason nepotism.

Exactly my issue (the parts in bold especially)....I am just not having it that we don't have more talented youngsters in our set-up. Devante Cole, Jordi Hiwula, Albert Rusnak etc etc etc. I have not been following whether those kids have been out in Portugal and are being given some rest but this kind of lazy nepotistic bullshit sends out frankly appalling signals to our youngsters who are genuinely busting a gut to be noticed.

It runs contrary to everything else about Mancini's overall meritocratic approach to management and it stinks to be quite frank

You have named 3 there who are a million miles better and much more likley to succeed than Mancini jnr and others but it must be that this was a game that they didnt need as part of their pre season preparation. Why the hell we were there in the first place I don't know as our under 16's would have beaten Limerick.

Trust the gaffer.

I am fed up with this Italian nepostist, ffs.
Sack him and entrust Brian Marwood of the whole football package, instead.

He will work wonders....

I read somewhere that Mancini Jr is only training with the side and isn't and never will be under contract at City.

Other clubs do it with players, its just a little suspect being his dad is the gaffer

Usually, players who train with clubs they are not contracted to, do so in the training ground, not on the pitch.

Playing people with no future at the club rather than giving kids who have earned a chance to wear the City shirt, is a disgrace & it should be stopped. This is not a one off as some are suggesting. We have had one useless fucking bag of shit keeping kids out of the EDS squad & now helped him to find a club whilst some are still without one. Now the other fucking waster is here.

It's out of order. Wearing the City shirt in any game is an honour & these people don't deserve it just because they have relatives or mates who work for us.

Why are you lumping Scapuzzi in with this though? Just because he is Italian and you don't rate him? He was well enough thought of last year to make the League Cup team!

2 assists + the last City touch on a goal that was given as an own goal by the Wolves keeper.

I loved his performance in that game - haven't seen him play since then though (Ive missed nearly all of our preseason this time)
