Berbatov

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Berbatov

Postby Evenmydoghatesunited » Wed Aug 08, 2012 5:27 am

All those years back when we bought that knob bulb Robinho we were also chasing Berbatov. At the time I was glad we didn't get him and he's been £32.5million down the pan for Stretford. I'm looking at him now though and wondering why he doesn't even get on the bench for some games and idiots like Michael Owen got the nod ahead of him for some games like the league cup.

Apparently though some of the things Berbatov can do in training "defy belief" so obviously he is still skilful. My idea is we but in a derisory offer for him, get him on board to flat track bully the lower league teams when we rest Kun and wheel him out as first choice striker in the derby matches where he will be so pumped up with anti Taggart sentiment he will make Adebayor's performance against Arsenal look pedestrian.

Remember Berbatov is also one of only four players to score 5 goals in a PL match. Anything that sends Slur Sandy into defibrillating fury and humiliation is worth a few quid.

He also chose to stick two fingers up at us when we had negotiated a fee with spurs so I hope the cunt rots on that bench!

"The more you handle pitch, the more you become besmirched by it" is an old saying.

I don't want us to be tainted or infected by any more imports from Scumland, especially after the Spews (Uuuuggghhh) and Tevez scenarios.

In any event, I wouldn't touch Berbaflop with a barge-pole and he's now well past his 'sell-by' date.

I'm a my enemies enemy is my friend sort of bloke. I hate ferguson that much I'd pick a team including Neil kinnock, simon cowell and Lisa Riley if it would upset him. NOTHING is beneath me to suggest to upset that twat.

We are in this for us.
Berbaflop offers us nothing.
Your hatred of the rags should take 2nd place to City's best interests.

Berbatov, for Spurs, turned in one of the best performances I've ever seen by an oppo CF. Alraight, he was up against Richard Dunne in a big game (so inevitably Dunnie's arse went ), but even so there was almost an invisible force field around him where no City player could get to the ball no matter how much time he needed. It was something Dzeko, for instance, can't even get close to in general play.

I find his relative lack of success at OT very satisfying but also very strange. He was, let's not forget, top scorer in the league. Imo, if Berbatov is given a run, & plays for the rags v City, we have a much much harder job than if Danny Wellbeck or Twatterito play.

I recon his Utd career ended when he missed that sitter v us in the Cup Semi. Ferguson is a nasty, bitter, old cunt & has to lash out against someone (he did it with the keeper years ago when we fucked them over).

If it wasn't for his rag position & the fact that he wants to start most games, I would take Berbatov in our squad no problem.

I hope he still has some left in the tank, cos I recon he's going to give Wio & Co a right fucking turning over at some point.

Was that the league cup game? If so then yes, every time the ball came to him it was like the world turned into slow motion. It really was a fantastic performance.

I also remember that as one of the finest performances by an oppo striker I have ever seen. It was like the ball was magnetically drawn to him. He was pulling it down and controlling it close no matter how it was pinged at him and from where. I am amazed he didn't succeed there, on his day he is top drawer.

I remember it, he was unplayable. We were hammering the rest of the team but he was keeping them in it singlehanded. All they had to do was hit it blind the length of the pitch and we were struggling every time.

He had an attitude and was at his best when he was the top dog. He didn't get that at the scum and he lost his heart. He did okay for a while but never really got the partnership with Rooney going to the point where rags warmed to him.

I wouldn't sign him, he's too interested in the pay check, game-time and self gratification. He's not about sacrifice for the team.
