Why should Hart pay? He's told the club at the end of last season he wanted to change. It's nothing to do with him if the mephs running the shop don't either don't get the message or don't filter it down.
As a nice gesture, fuck knows he earns enough money and it's not cheap for parents to fork on a new kit with the name and number of their kid's hero.
Also if the club knew at the end of last season then it shouldn't ever be an option to get on new shirts, that's a fairly straight forward thing to put in place so there's no disappointment.
Basic customer satisfaction really.
