This time tomorrow, we shall be lifting the community shield. Another trophy that we will grab off the scum.

Got my ticket. Bottom tier, behind the goals (R3, Row K, if I remember correctly).
Will be wearing a 'BHFanaticos/Hardcore Bosnians on Tour' hoodie and red and black away from last season, if you want to buy me a pint.
If you want me to buy you a pint, I'm going to be in a green and orange tracksuit.

Back injury takes Hart out of Blues and weakens England too
PUBLISHED: 23:17, 11 August 2012 | UPDATED: 23:17, 11 August 2012
Manchester City and England goalkeeper Joe Hart is out of the Community Shield and England's friendly against Italy on Wednesday.
Hart has suffered a minor back injury, which means Norwich's John Ruddy will make his England debut in Berne and manager Roy Hodgson may have to consider putting Birmingham's Jack Butland on the bench.
Romanian Costel Pantilimon is in line to play for City against Chelsea at Villa Park.

Just reading that Hart is out tomorrow, and for England, due to minor back trouble.

So if Kompany is going to be kept out to just not risk him, who's wearing the captains arm band ... and then lifting the shield for us? Surely, Kompany won't do a Terry?

I think it's a good excuse for him to not join the England squad.

Providing that I'll see Abdi Razak starting alongside Yaya, I'll be fine with whatsoever line up.

Kevin Friend is refereeing this afternoon. Our record with him in charge is W3 D2 L1.
And I ask again, if Kompany is sitting this one out, whose gonna wear the captain's band (and eventually lift the shield) ...?

You think Mancini will (or should) use this as an opportunity to give the arm band strategically to someone he considers vital (and who could be thinking of his place in the pecking order) to give him a morale boost before the start of the season? Tevez maybe? Anyone else?
