Savic had a consistent line to the ball, no sudden dart to one side - he put his arm up but was entitled to it. Right decision by the ref when Torres shoved him to the ground.

Absolutely, if Kompany did the same thing people would be screaming for Torres to be booked. Missed 15 mins but since it came on here haven't seen a single mistake by the ref...

Clear red, especially with Kompany's FA red still in memory. Two footed, studs up and into Kolarov. What's to argue?

Need to make all this possession count in a meaningful attack.

We're controlling yet very pedestrian. Need a good bollicking at ht.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

It was a red with studs up but it wasn't two footed. Even if it was there's no rule for two footed challenges.

Two things after this first half:

1) Savic was good, but Bobby must take him out because he is reckless and will get a second yellow.

2) This 3-5-2 system is by far his worst idea since he came here. Why change a system that the players are used too and took years to become stronger and eventually brought us the title. The attack worked, the defence worked, why the hell change?

I can understand why he sent Ivanovic off but I wouldn't have done it.

Still. We are playing ok and this 3 at the back thing looks like it might be a decent option in some situations.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Both had studs up, both got a touch on the ball so I think its a harsh decision in a friendly, glad of course but thats not the point. Had it been theother way people would naturally be defending it, that is all

Overall we seem to be the better side but we are one down.
Ivanovic was rightly sent off event hough it looked a bit harsh initially at normal speed.

De Jong having a top game,Savic fine so far, shame Vinnie's clearance header wasnt a good one to lead to the goal as Panti almost not in the game up till then.It will be interesting how we shape up against 10 men and deal with their breaks which will be dangerous the longer we take to score.

obv. agree on point 1)

the 3-5-2 formation is being experimented to avoid dropping points on some CL away ties, like we did last season. It's just option b, Mate.
I wouldn't mind Mate.
