If Mancini persuades him to open the purse strings then there's still a fair chance RVP will sign imo.
If not, I recon a couple more youngsters may come in. Possibly both will happen.
I wonder if we're genuinely talking to that Korean lad who played left back ?

Again, I do not want SIGNINGS, let alone that crocked anti- city pussy.
I want the market, in and out, the wages, thhe contract clauses to be managed and executed (because WE ALL agree that we are talking of MERE EXECUTION only, not of Foottball Administration as this boot seller seems to think maybe because he has read his business card too many times) by someone with a consolidated professional background of the same position at similar level of competion; thus some who also features proper introductions not with TV channels , not with the players' trade union, WITH FOOTBALL CLUBS THROUGHOUT EUROPE and possibly overseas.
Then I want to save uneccessarelly spent money, in order to persuing the writing off of debts, while waiting for the chance to jump on those VERY VERY FEW players who can ACTUALLY boost the Team (as YOU eloquentely explained several times) to be catched and acquired with the TIMELY and PROFESSIONAL action of a Senior Sporting Director as defined hereabove: someone who can have the better of most if not every greedy agents attempting to get a ransom for themselves.
As You can see I am very different from the picture of spoilt child that You paint and again, if You browse back into my posts Your memory will be well served to that use.
And again, I have been glad, very glad, to state that I stood corrected in countless occasions, embracing the most various issues of our common passion for the football, by Your well worth and never questioned opinion: NEVER, not even when You were convinced that Roberto Mancini was just a clueless italian caretaker for someone else; I just thought that You were exercising Your clever right to reserve the judgement and I was right.
So that I really, genuinely don't see what's strange can You see in someone that insist in stating something that is BRIGHT AS THE SUN AT PAPETE: Brian Marwood is a former decent Arsenal player, with previous average experience of sporting manufactures marketing at assistantship level, previous average expirence at talking shite on tv and some experience at loobing for a particular working class. No previous history of direct experience of his current job nor any evidence of any result of whatsoever quality in undertaking the current job.
Oh, I see, he signed Yaya Toure and David Silva? please browse back to those days and remember what happened. I don't have time and will to continue this commedy.
Oh, I see, Mancini went in, he quite not spoke a word of english but he was capable to spot AJ at his previous game and convince the board to sign in a week. Meanwhile he spoke, in vain that City had not enough quality in midfield, as per Kenny Dalglish, Mark Hughes and brian Marwood idea of football, but he took more than an year to have one signed, other than his personal friend Patrick Vieira offloaded by Inter Milan foer free.
Seriously while I had simpathy for the barricades erected to support Hughes, because I respect the idea of a vintage traditional football and Mark hughes is more than qualified to manage that pattern of football, I really, HONESTLY can't get why so many smart people are so damned scared to watch the reality face to face.
BRIAN MARWOOD IS NOT A SPORTING DIRECTOR, he is just the residual baggage of a former Senior Officer at MCFC who has very sadly been lost along with his very competent addition to the Club cause.
then I do not know if, in order to make my statement of facts as effective as your quotes, I have to present hard copies of the contacts signed by Marwood at 3/4 time the players market value, agreeing with them the rights to get paid twice the other best of the same role in the same market who he now is not able to offload.

We have just done EXACTLY what Mancini said we are trying to do & people are moaning about it.
Sack Mancini then; it's his plan.
Before whinging for the sake of it, why doesn't everybody actually read what Mancini says instead of what the stirrers in the press tell you he says ?
I said on here weeks ago that there would be some 'under the radar' signings. If Mancini has his way, there will be more.
Btw, if Marwood is getting stick for not signing Martinez, how shit must the guy at Barca be ? Seeing as Martinez actually wants to sign for them & they still haven't got him ? What the fuck is the guy playing at ? And which wanker is in charge of Real Madrid's transfer dealings ? Modric is desperate to go there & they can't close the deal ? Surely all these people must be sacked ?

Ted
I think like 3 people, one of whom is Mancio with a marwood shaped boner in his bum which im sure i helped wittle into shape myself, who have bitched about this signing.
Nearly everyone thinks its a reasonable, hold on, a thoughtful and affordable buy. It has some risk but it's a solid buy I believe.
bobby had to basically use the media to get marwood to pull his finger out. You or I could have signed Rodwell two weeks ago. When we sign RVP this week, whom I do not covet btw, don't act like "the anti-marwood brigade have got what they wanted" because that's missing the fundamentals of my argument. Which I'll restate here:
This squad with this potential leaving it this late to make the 2-3 critical signings, not blockbuster mega 30m signings, to push us on is criminal. That crime I lay at marwoods feet.
Recoverable? Surely. A joke? In fact, yes.
Cheers

oh, I see.
so You are entitled to post any shite whatsoever to back the idea that Marwood is fit for the job, including saying at noon that he didn't sign anyone for TWO MONTHS because he was under strict orders by the Chairman in order to save money for FFP compliance, then because there were no players good enough to sign around the market, just to ultimately land up with the shite that spending 17 millions on Rodwell has become a good saving for FFP sake, the lad will become a world beater because of Mancini coaching an proximity to fellow top midfielders, while obviously Javi martinez, the player who has been asked by the manager and is worldwide reputated will obviously never become good enough, neith upon Mancini care and top midfielders proximity.
But if someone dares to argue that strictly logical defence of an unqualified predender - just for the Club sake - You just refuse, for the first time ever, to engage yourself in it and, accordingly, You graciously ignore who cares.
very well done, Sir.
now I also realize why You can't even bother to reply to an invitation for a drink.
I tell You what, I feel myself much dirty and very much ashamed.
