No way he's a defensive midfielder with that hair.

Absolutely.
Love Fellaini. He has come with leaps and bounds with his concentration and reading of game. HE is someone who I feel would've made that spot currently vacated by De Jong and/or Barry his own immediately.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I feel most of his 'interceptions' are down to winning headers & we need someone a bit more active on the ground for that position (in the way that Barry & Nige are). Rodwell was definitely the bloke who did that job at our place.

Fellaini, imo, is the bloke who plays next to them.

I've posted this before about him but he's not prolific enough to be an attacking midfielder and not fast nor skilfull enough to be a defensive midfielder. He's not good enough to be box to box.

Essentially, he's not good enough for a top 4 club. A good player, but not top drawer.
Attack the argument of the person, not the person of the argument- except Carl.

I tend to agree though he is a good player. He reminds me of a midfield David Luiz. Big strong, athletic, but just not quite top 4 material.

I might be wrong, but that's how I see it.

Very good comparison that.

Fellani shows flashes of top level stuff now and then but rarely is a consistent world beater much like Luiz.

I love him and have said it before. He'd be a valuable piece of City artillery. Practically won us the league vs the Scum did he not? Agent Fellaini step forward for your next mission.
