Hell no. We are no longer the City from few years back who has to sign other clubs' rejects. And anyway I just don't see how he would improve us?

Didn't he karate kick Richards in the everton game last season about 42 minutes after Richards had played the ball? I'm sure it was him.

for what it's worth, he seems to have talent/skill ... but previous to his everton loan, hadn't been so great about the application of it. Just an interesting story ... but what was your opinion of him at everton? I thought he played well and was generally dangerous in attack

Ask Moyes what he thought of him when he turned up late for training (repeatedly) and ended up getting sent home towards the end of the season for being disruptive.

I don't believe this for one second, however, I was mentioning Drenthe on here several years ago, as I thought he was absolutely outstanding in a couple of games I saw him play for Real Madrid, but could hardly ever get a game. He was also very impressive for the Dutch U21s prior tosigning for Real.

At the time of course, we were somewhat thinner on the ground squad wise than we are now, but the games I saw him play; at least once he was playing in a kind of wingback role, & was fantastic. If this unlikely story has any merit whatsoever, it could be that Bob has seen the same potential for his new system, & thinks it may be worth a gamble as there would be no fee involved. Short term contract perhaps as a trial ?

I doubt he'd be signed unless we missed out on others though.

I would be staggered if we signed him. Some talent for sure but I just don't see him as better than AJ and I wuld not have thought he fits Mancini's expectations re character etc

Man looking for a contract somewhere. Agent says City are interested. Other clubs move faster and offer more. Standard practice.

If i had to Hazard a guess, i'd say you'll be saying the same thing when a certain player washes out at Chelsea in a few seasons.
