Our next raid on Arsenal

Postby Piccsnumberoneblue » Thu Aug 16, 2012 7:52 am

If we were to go and nick one player from our feeder club, who would it be? That Ox chappie would be interesting. And I could see him fitting in with us. How much would it take to get him or is it out of the question now that Twatty Bollox has gone to the filth.

I'd rather see what he does over a season rather than the odd 5 mins.

Let's see if Wenger can 'bring him on' like he did Walcott, Denilson, Jermaine Pennant etc etc.

Ox is a great prospect but my preference would be Thomas Vermalen.Would be the ideal signing he already plays beside Kompany at international level and would really improve the team.

Probably Arsenal will make the mistake of making him Captain - a sure path to departure!!

Barca sniffing round him.

If we sign too many Arsenal players, we will start bottling out in games we should win. The blend is just about right.

song's the arsenal player I rate the highest as well. He's off to Barcelona, though, according to Chinners's daily bollox.

I also think he'll go to barca, and that will be a very good career move for him. He is quality.

Song for me too, I think he was the one to profit from fabregas leaving.

Seems like forgotten by everyone after a year out but I really really like Jack Wilshire. I do fancy Aaron Ramsey being pretty big player in the future as well. I'd have either of them.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Who's that young bull of a player they've got coming through as a defensive midfielder? I can't remember his name. He was a bit sporadic when he played last season but was promising. Maybe if Song is allowed to head to Barca it's because they expect the youngster to step up.

Song - definitely - him and Yaya would rule the midfield

Song 100%, like I said, he is the last pretty girl at the disco. No idea where they are finishing next season now, although Ox has looked good he still has a lot of work to do and the 2nd season syndrome to get past.

That's him - he had a good game or two, plus a bad game or three. I think he's still well thought of at Arse. Give him a few seasons and he will be a regular.

best option has been raided by barca, as usual.
still remains Song as a well worth, versatile back up. as we went for jack I can't see further raids coming up (soon).
lovely thread, tho. honest.
