I expect to battle in the top four and depending where we are after Xmas put a serious challenge in for the title plus any cups were still in.

I thought so too but apparently they're staging another one this year (January next to be exact) to switch the years into odd years from even so not to have it in the same year with FIFA World Cups or UEFA Euros etc. ... So, unfortunately yes we'll be losing both Toure brothers this season again unless someone talks Yaya into announcing retirement (or temporary suspension) from international duty ...
