De Rossi

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

My United mate said he's Roy Keane with more footballing ability. A frightening prospect if it came true :)

Yaya, De Rossi and Silva would be a three only matched by Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets in terms of pure ability. We'd be scarily good in the middle. He's THAT much better than Barry, and i love Barry. Fingers crossed its not bullshit.

Oh and they're also claiming we want Jovetic too! He's a classy player as well.

DeRossi is the best player we could possibly sign.

This talk has been all over the media for days now & none of the parties involved has cried bullshit so he's obviously thinking about it.

We're going to get the Kaka situation now though; where all the Roma fans beg him not to go. Let's hope him & his club have more balls than Kaka/AC Milan. He's turned us down before.

I've mentioned Jovetic several times on here & was asking how he was doing recently as I've lost touch. I rated him as one of the top prospects in the world, then he got injured & I've only seen bits & pieces since.

If we are after him, even long term, it would go some of the way to explaining Savic.

All Italian City fans want Daniele De Rossi with a City shirt since last year! He's a top class miedfielder and in my own opinion Daniele shall be a good support in and outside the ground for Mario Balotelli too!
http://www.gazzetta.it/Calciomercato/19 ... 7427.shtml
Fingers crossed for his signing in the next days!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

Come on Rossi, who needs sunshine, the
Coliseum, the Trevi fountain and the Sistine chapel when here you will be adored by millions and treated like a prince. Swap Rome for Rusholme or Royton and help live the city dream, after all, Rome wasn't built in a day.

When you put it like that, how could he resist! I know what I'd be doing.

Can't believe that, as he is supposed to be playing in a friendly for Roma tonight.

They'll all be having hysterics tonight trying to force him to stay though, so you never know; he may have gone 'fuck this' & bailed ;-)

Yep just read this link and although the article is toilet, scroll down to the comment by Arjen, says the Roma team are to be presented (to the fans I presume) today. Perhaps Mancio4 or anyone else can tell us what time and it is on their tv. That'll confirm one way or the other where he is?

The attitude of these cunts does my head in. He's given them years of fantastic service, signed a deal to make sure the club get full value if he's transferred & still they begrudge him one last move ?

Beggars belief, some of the comments, like the Italian clubs NEVER sign foreign players?

That said, it could be argued that some us would be pissed if we had a world class player that had served us for so long, upped and left? They are quite a passionate lot LOL

rumors spread all over italian media, including LA7 (very reliable as for news handling) and SSN, say that he might sign tomorrow just after last Roma friendly and City engagement with the 1st League fixture.

fingers crossed, cause, ok he's 29 thus not the perfect benchmark of City signings, but he will certainly solve all the worries concerning possible points dropped and CL failure due to vacation/injury of Yaya. Worth a dozen of points alone, I'd say.
same apply for eventual casualties at the CB roles: he and Jack will let me sleep very relaxed and carefree nights, all season long.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Even if he is the only other signing we make before the window closes, I would be over the blue moon.

If you ask me, he wants to join us, but he thinks he owes something to Roma, so he is really in a 50/50 situation. From what i've heard, Mancio4ever can confirm it or not, Zeman isn't a fan of him and Totti and would prefere them out, to start to rebuilt Roma.

I think he isn't in Manchester, but the two clubs reached an agreement for the bid and his agent will negociate it.

The same goes with Sinclair. He was on the bench yesterday, then came in later on in the game.

As Ted has mentioned; the fact DDR or Roma haven't come out and denied anything means that some sort of deal is being negotiated. City wouldn't usually comment on rumors anyway, but for Roma to not even say anything speaks volumes in my opinion.

La Gazzetta on #MCFC offer for De Rossi: a €30-35m fee and a 5 year contract that keeps him earning €9m a season at City until he's 34
