I don't think that is his wife mate, her name is Giannini or something like that.

I thought it looked bad when I saw him do it and him walking off didn't make me feel any better, like the post above said you can walk after an ACL injury it just becomes a huge problem if you try and turn left or right.

Maybe I'm just extra worried as iv just finished Lakeys book and his injury's are fresh in my mind. Saying that, if Kun has done the ACL at least we know he won't be sent to a butcher like Lake was. Fingers crossed that its nowt to serious.

He's just tweeted that initial examinations don't show any major damage but it was a heavy blow to the knee. He'll know more when he's had his scans tomorrow.

Fingers crossed for a short lay off, not been able to enjoy the three points worrying about that beautiful argentinan fucker.

Yes I tore my ACL, tried to go in goal, but it felt funny, drove to the pub, climbed on a bar stool, sank a few beers, got driven home, crawled up the stairs into the bath, woke up next day with an elephant like knee, drove to the drs who just said to rest it, went on holiday to Northumberland, fell over a few times when I gave way sideways, went back to drs they sent me for physio & it's never been the same since..so he'll be fine :)

I just hope we don't rush him back, give him a good proper rest and have him back 100%, not a season with him not able to run or shoot properly.

We have 2 other great strikers and another one who we can change tactics for to get the best out of him.

If you could, that would be great, he seems a good guy to know. Thanks.

A bloke who had just bought some cigs from a shop near the cab rank reckoned it looked like it hurt. I'd go with that....and I just thought on, Cavani's name isn't Brian. I think your mate is telling porkies.

there'll be lots of personal experience thrown about in this thread ... so let me add my own.

Tore my meniscus in a tackle where the motion was not too dissimilar from the lunge on aguero, crawled off the field at first, then was able to walk around, but did not feel comfortable at all as I drove home (right knee). The next morning, I had to be up bright and early for my fitness test and medical to join the Marines. Did that, passed it (with major discomfort, which I was able to hide), and went on my way.

Had a scan later after weeks with my knee not hurting or feeling bad ... just feeling off and a bit weak. Moral of the story: Don't assume anything until the scan. I told everyone I was fine as well.

Anyway, my wedding celebrant who mentioned City during the ceremony told me that once she was forced at gunpoint to recite the rag song at a previous wedding and it made her a little bit sick to have to do so. She didn't tweet it so it could be bullshit. Still, she was nice though. I can confirm that her knees were in good working order. Not great but good.
